He can maintain it all he wants, but he has an agent and others around him who pay attention to it for him. He knows what’s going on.

why would his agent pass along what stupid made up crap the media makes up? I would think the agent only passes along relevant information from people who matter.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Your timeline is mixed up.  I wasn't banned until late into the 2018 season.

Lurie might have to bite the bullet since he chose to keep Howie and Wentz predictably and probably rightfully has issues with Howie.  Also on top of that it is clear that Wentz is a cancerous force within that organization and if they truly want to do this big reset/rebuild then it would be best done with him out of the picture.  They will take a big cap hit but their cap is Fed no matter what this year.  I'm pretty sure if they trade him this offseason then he will be completely off their books within 2 years.

Here is a fun next topic. So why do you say Wentz is a "cancerous force within the organization"?

Id love to here the examples and sources on this one, lol.

mmm.... not sure about it. Hes not like Embiid and Simmons with the social media. He goes to his ranch in the middle of nowhere to disconnect.

There’s zero chance he’s unaware of the speculation that’s out there.

His agent doing him a disservice telling him that unless he’s trying to get him to crack and say he wants out cause his agent believes it’s better to go elsewhere

Closer to 80 exit interviews.  11 PS players,  16 on IR, three on Covid list, Brooks on recall from PUP.  So perfect world with no breaks and Zoom perfection, ten minutes for each in an 8 hour day.

I am sure position coaches also did the interviews

And that's why they hate him...

yeah. I would think any player who has an agent bringing him all this McClane crap and the like would be fired pretty quickly. What player wants to be pestered with stuff like that?

I don’t follow the Sixers. Is the trade talk because they supposedly don’t like each other or is it a matter of fit?

fit, and Simmons regressing.

It’s quite the twist for RTK. just 2 years ago we were spoiled and not deserving of wentz when we discussed Nick foles’s future. Now wentz is a cancer.

This is the guy y'all are clinging to. Look at this quote, it is absolute Fing stupid. Nothing but speculation and he ends it by saying "it could go either way" so whatever happens he can go back and say I told you so. He's a Fing clown like any other reporter

Wasn't someone in here just saying that Schefter doesn't just throw crap to the wall?

That's literally throwing crap to the wall lol

I’d also say there’s a portion of the fan base that just doesn’t like Simmons general personality off the court and what he does with his life. Like date jenner

Lol. They aren’t printing out articles for him to read every day, but they certainly would tell him that there is a lot of speculation that he wants to be traded.

So a terrible comparison by that guy.

He would be completely off the books this year if traded, but the optics would not sit well with Lurie.  He is not going to take the biggest dead cap hit in NFL history.

This is amusing, you used to be Mr Philadelphia does not deserve a QB like Carson Wentz.

And I will go look at the archived board, but I am pretty sure you got banned before the Eagles won the playoff game vs the Falcons.  Good thing that all the relevant Super Bowl related threads were archived.

I think he's maintained that he doesn't pay attention to the media.  I think he probably isn't happy and wouldn't be unhappy if he was traded somewhere he could get a fresh start.  I doubt he is so unhappy that he would be willing to pay back some of his contract to lessen the cap hit.

I'm not happy with the Eagles either.  Should I post on social media about it?

Not really. There’s a lot of sixers fans who don’t like him for his off the court things, fit and don’t believe he’s good enough to win a title. Nor will he talk about his jumpshot and unwillingness to shoot.

He did get banned cause he wanted to start sudfeld (who had no career starts) in the playoffs and then actively was rooting against foles.

yes. that guy is representative your common philly fan WIP caller that supports simmons no matter what because "hes always close to a triple double" and they buy the coach speak and cookie cutter positive answers guys like Doc Rivers and Embiid give when asked about Ben. Obliviously they arent going to publicly bash him but many fans are too simple minded to understand that.

@downundermike Reminded me about something very important that hasn't been discussed. Kelce

He's a HUGE part of the offense no matter the QB. If he retires do we have his replacement on the team? If we don't then I hope Kelce at least lets the coaches and FO know before draft

Get the F out of here with trying to score political points.  You refuse to recognize what Lowie has done to this team since winning the SB.  Until you are able to come to terms with what most of us are seeing, than you'll continue to be ridiculed in here.  And it's not just me.  The more Lurie thinks he knows, the worse it gets.  Until he backs away and replaces Howie with a real football man at GM instead of a bean counter, this team will continue to flounder.  But you go ahead and defend Howie at every turn.  All the bad draft picks are someone else's fault........

Lowie just tried to run it back, made the playoffs and maybe would have gone to the next rounds if Brooks ( 2018 NO playoff game ) and Wentz ( 2019 ) don’t get sent to the locker room. Both teams however were not even close to 2017 level. All downhill from there so your point is taken, should have started the rebuild in 2018. Lowie’s bad.

I think that decision has cap ramifications, so they’ll get a good indication from him prior to the start of the new league year in mid March

Seumalo or herbig could play center. There was talk Driscoll could eventually do it last year when he was drafted as they worked him out at tackle, guard and center. But i think they might also draft one this year.

I still am of the belief kelce is going to retire. I don’t think he wants to be part of this rebuild. I think he’s just waiting til after the super bowl to think it over.
