Knowing Howie, I expect it to be Nick Foles and DeAndre Carter coming here

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

I said that earlier. That would be nice.

That would make no sense for the Bears but yeah him and Roquan too.

I think it would depend on how desperate the bears were to get a deal done with Nagy and pace on the hot seat. But yeah i don’t really see it happening either. I originally said i thought cohen was someone the eagles would be interested. He’s a returner, can play the hines role the colts had

I’m all for a Bobby vs. RTK death match where both sign waivers fighting for their right to stay on the Emb. Guest referee is Reuben randle

I think even with a waiver unless they are members of a fighting association they would have to have the match in Texas.

is this with the assumption kelce is back? I tend to think he’s retiring. And that’s a massive loss if he does. And i don’t trust lane to stay healthy anymore. Three consecutive seasons might just be his body deteriorating on him.

Kelce could be back.  Guys with his personality/grit tend to say they might retire but then end up playing "one more year" for about 3-4 years.   And I would think making the pro-bowl this year might motivate him to come back for a few more seasons.

I think Lane will be fine.  Pretty sure he's been dealing with the same injury (ankle) for the past 2 seasons.  Hopefully they "got it right" with his surgery this offseason.

So we can ask Jerry jones to use the stadium and charge 40 bucks on PPV

So I was watching a show then come back to check The Blog and see it went from 904 pages to 916 pages in an hour.  I was like "WTF?  On a Saturday night?"  Now I see why.

I hope that rumoured Bears deal isn't true.  This is possibly the weakest top heavy draft in decades so only moving up 17 spots when all the players in the 10-50 range are pretty much equal is utter stupidity, IMO.  Context matters.  Sounds like another Lowie sentimentality move to bring back SB hero Foles and while we're at it, hey, let us show you the RB we wanted to draft if only someone hadn't drafted him before it was our turn.  And BTW, he's coming off a major knee injury which is our cherry on top special.  At least get a starting quality D player, like a DB/LB/DE.  It's the Bears and they need better O players so for them to give up O players is basically a salary dump for them.

The rumoured Colts deal is a bit better, but still nothing that fans the flames of excitement.

We got to see the Eagles win a SB and now we're paying the price.  The bill comes due.  Always.

If Wentz is traded, over / under on days until Kelce retires.  I will take the under on 14 days.

Personally think he was retiring whether wentz was back or not.

It was Kelce, Wentz and Ertz who all hung around on the field at the Linc after the last game vs the Wanker Football Team.  Thus, I wouldn't be surprised by this.  I would bet they were discussing how F'd up the FO has become and how the team has suffered for it.

Nick Foles was terrible in Jacksonville and Chicago.  This Eagles team is bad and is going to go through some pretty big turnover this season.

Nick Foles is 32 years old.  Nick Foles is not going to get better.  There is no untapped potential there.  Out offensive line is old and injury prone.  Hurts at least has his legs to make something out of nothing.  Foles does not do well at all behind a shaky offensive line.

RTK, people here are going to troll you over Foles. Don't take the bait. If Foles returns, he is a good backup, a good teammate and maybe a good mentor for Hurts. Nobody thinks he is the future. You don't need to make this case. Foles is a good guy who can step in and some times step up. My advice is you put him and his role on the team out of your mind or you are going to end up being trolled again and again.

If for some reason Ertz also retired, takes the dead cap hit of Wentz 34 million, then add those 2, 50 million dead cap.

I really hope that Jason kelce Writes a tell-all book at some point in time. He must have so many stories considering he was here for the end of the Andy Reid era, chip Kelly era, doug pederson era, rise and fall of wentz and what went on behind the scenes.

If RTK had a sense of humor, he would have already posted

" Nick Foles would be the second best QB on the roster "

Call me crazy but my gut says Kelce is back, even with trading Wentz. He’s not that old plus if he plays I believe it would be for the most money in one year in his career (not including when he got his actual signing bonus).

Guess you can't expect much. We have a horrible Gm. Nothing to see here. Move along, move along.

Any chance Cody Whitehair is part of the deal?

Nope, Howie put his foot down. He wants Cohen!

This really sums up a lot about the eagles lately

You do realize that the idiom is "ripe for the picking"?

If I were kelce I wouldn't stick around to be a part of this clown show. If he stays this year there is no questioning his legacy

I mean if we get to week eight or week nine and hurts is not playing well, improving and looks like crap then I think the Eagles already know their decision on what they’re going to do at quarterback next. So bringing in Nick Foles at that point wouldn’t make any difference because they’re probably not winning that many games even with Nick Foles because this roster is not that good

I highly doubt they’re going to make Nick Foles the starter. And the Eagles won’t admit it was a bad pick or wasted pick they’ll say he’s just not ready yet. They will spin it

Bringing in Foles at all is furthering the insanity.  The QB position has been in constant turmoil or controversy since the SB due to horrid mismanagement by the brass of this team.

But they don't want his opinion about which QBs they should trade/obtain? Sure. Howie's a crazed egomaniac isolated in his office, yelling about who took the strawberries.

You must have missed the part where the final say on the roster was Howie's.
