I'm not sure what's so unique about that particular play

He caused a DB to slightly misstep.  That's never happened at any level.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Help his case?  He's going #1 overall.  Bank on it.  Not sure how his case is going to be hurt.

I know hes going number 1 ovr no matter what. Didnt help his case for my view I had on him is what that meant.

On another note, was NOT impressed with Trevor Lawrence's pro day. I was not a big fan of him anyways but this showing did not help his case. A ton of miss throws, over throws, bad angles, and just wobbly throws etc. I get it, he is having surgery but its not his throwing arm.

I admit I haven't watched any of it yet, but I've read a few reports on bleacher report and NFL.com that he was throwing absolute darts accurately and with velocity.

They dont rip up the contract just to ask them to take a paycut

JJ Watt does not want to play for the #Steelers, per

Per SI

Lawrence was impressive, hitting on almost every throw with laser-like precision, and did it mostly working from under center, something he rarely did during his collegiate

Sorry @Bacarty2 - Try not to cry yourself to sleep tonight.

Had a few that were, but there was more that were just really off. Over thrown, a bit high, miss placed. Esp when he hit the red zone area. Not many good throws in that area at all. A lot the receiver was out of bounds to make the catch. On most of his shorter throws were far from darts. Wobbly, not much zip out of them. Id say his best throws where his deep passes. I think NFL network is replaying it tonight. I just expected much better when you have no pressure on you. Maybe he was just nervous.

I’ll take Kyle Pitts over Devonta Smith, but

I’ll take Ja’Marr Chase over Kyle Pitts, but

I’d prefer a trade out to #10-12 over either of them, to see if one is still available

If they’re both gone I’ll choose who’s there between Waddle, Surtain, and Farley

he looks really skinny.

The only thing I take from it is he gets 4-5 more yards than Ertz does on the same catch because the DB chops Ertz down on the spot.  Ertz gets catch point and fall forward.

Until the player is cut or the contract is renegotiated, engaging another team while a player is currently under contract is tampering.

Someone who just watched Trevor Lawrence in his workout texted me and said, he looked like he was the first pick overall in any draft

I really don't know where I stand when it comes to comparing Pitts and Chase but I think I lean towards Pitts.  On one hand, Chase dominated in 2019 but we have no idea how he would have performed this year without Burrow, Jefferson or Brady running the O.  He also doesn't have one dominate skill set.  That's not a bad thing at all it's just hard to tell how that will translate to the NFL.  He ran a 4.66 coming out of high school but it's been said, though not recorded, he ran a 4.4 at LSU.  In some highlights he definitely shows speed while in others he doesn't create that much separation.  He's tough to scout.

Pitts on the other hand played in 2020 and dominated.  He had great players around him as well but he is an athletic freak and he can be a matchup nightmare.  A lot with him will depend on his 40 time and potentially his strength.  His wingspan is freakish.  He's young at 20.  6-6 240.  I really think he could be a Mike Evans the more I watch his highlights again.  If you keep him at TE, he's a Darren Waller player.

For all of the Greg Ward haters, drafting Pitts and playing him outside allows you to kick Reagor in to the slot where he too could be a matchup problem.  Watkins could be the other outside WR.

The more I think about it, I'm sticking with my gut and the guy I've been talking up for months.  Give me Kyle Pitts.

well I take back my 99.9% chance he's a Steeler post.

apparently it's not as this is common practice

I wouldnt take Pitts in the first round. He's identical to the 2-3 guys slated to go in the 3rd round.

Jumping at a tight end is insane.

Man.  Is stealing stealing if you don't get caught?

Watt to the Bucs imo

Why not? Players pay the agent

I just don't see it as that simple. If I pay a lawyer to represent me and they do something unethical, there's no way I should take the heat for them doing that. It's a nuanced situation.

2 years ago, Pitts, the kid from Penn state and Long from Bc were all in the same bucket and most had the kid from Penn state as the top Tight end

The onloy thing that changed is Pitts got Trask.

Trask + Grimes is wayyyy better then anything any other TE has in this draft.

the kid from PSU is good, even though I never can remember his name.  I know he's coming off a serious injury too.  The more you watch Pitts though I think the more you can see he's got WR potential.

Right, and that opens the door for outside conversation. Or it's an unwritten rule that allows conversations to be had. It seems extremely popular and no ones been popped for tampering

Teams have been punished for tampering. Chiefs tampered with Maclin just a few years ago and lost draft picks.

It's common practice, just hard to enforce. It's really that simple.

Aren't agents normally with players for their entire career?

Also I wouldn't compare something outside the league though. Very apples and oranges IMO

good one. Hoagie mouths like you and the racist arsenal say the dumbest **** because the hate of Wentz blinds you.

The dude had 1 bad year in 4 seasons with literally no talent around him, one of the most over rated head coaches of all time and you think it's because he was banging his wife too much

Really?  Weren't you the clown who was getting dragged in the blog a month or two ago for spewing racism?  So this is a perfect example of projection by you, a known racist scumbag.

Everyone knows how and why you make your QB preferences.

if the clerk sees you take and is he's ok with it. it's not stealing

If a dog barks knocking over a tree in the forest do either make a sound if it isn't recorded on a phone and uploaded to twitter?

There were tweets posted last week that said something would happen on Monday or Tuesday of this week. Also some that said something would happen sometime this week
