The odds of that matchup happening again are slim to none. But if Joe can stay moderate over the next 3, I'd be more inclined to vote for him than Trump. If there were a different Repub candidate, I'd go in that direction though. Honestly, both parties need new blood.  The Bidens, Pelosis, McConnells and Trumps of the world need to step aside.

Yeah i have my doubts that he'd vote for Biden when push comes shove, but at least he's paying it lip service. Procus, on the other hand, lives in a far different reality where Trump is still president and Biden has a body double while the puppet masters are the ones pulling the strings.

Yep. Believe it or not, there are Republicans out here who don't like Trump. I admit that I voted for him in 2016, I fell for the drain the swamp stuff, and I loathe Hillary. Post-election in 2020, he lost me if he runs again. I just can't get on the "stop the steal" nonsense. There's fraud in every election, very rarely is it enough to change outcomes as I suspect the case to be here. As I said, I just hope he either can't or chooses not to run.

Biden v. Trump round 2 is very likely. Trump will be the GOP nominee if he is alive. Biden will run again simply because the Democrats have no one else who has a chance. While Biden's ratings suck now, that's because there isn't a name on the other side. Trump beats him now in head to head, but not by huge margins. Biden will have to hope that (i) COVID fades, (ii) inflation backs off and (iii) the loony left remembers how much they don't want Trump. 

There really are no other viable candidates...which is just sad. The one wildcard might be...Mayor Pete. But not sure the Democrats risk trying to elect the first openly gay President given the alternative is Trump.

My gut feeling is there are a lot of Republicans out there like you. But not so willing to admit it openly. There were lots of loud, obnoxious anti-Hillary Republicans in 2016. In 2020, not so many were as outspoken in favor of Trump.

Joe Biden will be 82 Fing years old and Donald Trump will be 79. It's pathetic if either or both are running again in 2024.

For me personally, those 4 years were quite prosperous. As someone who has said he would not get my vote again (and there are a lot of us out there), do you think ridicule is the best way to go? I'm not a Trump was chosen by God nutjob. I actually feel most of my values lie more with Libertarians, but there will never be a viable third party in our lifetime.

there wasn't any enthusiasm for biden in 2020 either. there was enthusiasm to vote cheeto out of office. a lot of dems figured a potato as potus would be less damaging than 4 more years of agent orange.

for 2024, cheeto being the repug nominee gives joe his best chance at reelection, imo.
