We all know what's coming. Republicans will probably take a bunch of offices in the midterms. And if for some odd reason they don't, you will say all the elections were rigged and donate whatever is left of of your 401k (after Trump fleeced you for the past 5 or 6 years) to stopping a bunch of steals.

Typically the party that wins the White House loses seats in the subsequent midterm election. No matter the party involved.

There is historical precedent for this:

Chart showing that the president’s party lost seats in 17 of 19 midterms since World War II, with several of the losses being quite large, and the rare seat gains being quite small

The only chance the Dems have in November is Trump sheeting the bed over and over again between now and then.  Might happen.

I have no idea what this means.  Trump's not the President.  But him being charged would very much work generally in the Dems favor.  Though I doubt it would do much for the midterms, you'd see Biden double his approvals among Dems overnight.

Dems are going to lose the House, but the Senate is very much in play.  The map just works in their favor.

Trump is the Republican Party at this point.  Who knows what level of crazy he may reach later in the year depending on what is happening.  Maybe he'll publicly declare that he sides with Putin after Russia invades Ukraine.

The crazy thing is more than half the party will follow without question.

Yeah, but they'll lose the independents and even a chunk of the party will just not vote.

I mean, they've already backed seditious traitors and have been for over a year.  I really don't think anyone that's still on board is jumping off now.

I can understand it from Trump's point of view. He is the party, but wouldn't it be better if it was called by his name?

He wants to kill the GOP and make the MAGA party, with him as President for Life, you know, just what he wishes for America.

Yeah, why not.  Maybe that's the move he will make.

Trump is capable of doing something crazy enough to move things marginally and that's enough to make it a tight race instead of a rout.

F that. No matter who is the President, I’ll always have their side against a foreign adversary.

RINO.

Eminem responds to Rudy telling him to leave the country for kneeling.

This is awesome!

This is the best they can do.

That's some real Handmaids Tale energy among GOP AG nominees in MI.

The democrats soft stance on crime is killing them and will continue to do so until they get more people like Eric Adams and less people like Larry Krasner.

Liberal DAs and woke school boards are going to destroy the Democrats in 2022.

On the other hand there are a lot of folks out there who don’t think we should prosecute someone for trying to fix an election.
