Georgia voters appeal decision on Rep. Greene's eligibility

I'm torn, on the one hand, barring her would be good for the country, but on the other hand, it will be more satisfying to watch her lose and fade into obscurity.

Oh no. She won't simply fade away. That's not how it works in Washington DC. Having been elected by a bunch of bumpkins in Georgia that don't know any better has only legitimized her brand of whackadoodle. She can parlay one term in Congress, all of the connections she made, into years of lobbying for the nutters out there.

One thing's for sure. If PA has a Republican governor next year we can kiss legal weed goodbye.
(And those prices in NJ dispensaries are ridiculous - double what they are in California.)

But at least we won't have to wear masks.

As part of their endorsement process, the Inquirer editorial board sent Senate and gubernatorial candidates a questionnaire designed to outline some basic policy positions. One of the questions was, "Who won the 2020 presidential election," with the options being Joe Biden (the correct answer) and Donald Trump. Only one Republican running for Senate -- longshot Jeff Bartos -- acknowledged Biden won. Among the Republican candidates for governor, three -- none of whom are given much of a chance of being the nominee -- responded to the survey and said that Biden won.

Did they actually answer Trump or did they just not answer?

Is there much if a difference? If they skip the question it's a copout. Probably means they know Trump's full of ish and Biden won. If they answer they're either saying what they know they need to say or they believe it. Which of those it is can probably be inferred from other answers.

Just different levels of spinelessness and antidemocratic sentiment.

Anyone in PA who likes to vote or drink water from the tap should vote for Shapiro.

Republicans can use Campaign money however they want. Nobody is going to hold them accountable.

A Republican congressional candidate in Florida paid her home energy bill using campaign funds, potentially violating federal law

Former RNC Finance Chair Wynn sued by DOJ for failing to register as a foreign agent, for lobbying on behalf of China.

It’s hard to keep track how crooked these crooks are.

MyPillow CEO comment to 9NEWS prompts state ethics investigation of Tina Peters

https://www.9news.com/article/news/local/next/state-ethics-investigation-tina-peters-colorado-lindell/73-678787a6-c0aa-460a-8329-e322947a4d7f

Quote

At that April 5 event, 9NEWS reporter Marshall Zelinger asked Lindell about his contributions to Peters and her legal defense against felony charges for tampering with election equipment.

Zelinger: "Mr. Lindell, how much have you raised for Tina Peters legal defense fund?"

Lindell: "I just put all the money in myself."

Zelinger: "How much is that?"

Lindell: "I don't know, I probably put in 3, 4, 5, maybe $800,000 of my own money."

The complaint claims that Peters is violating the section of the Colorado Constitution that limits how much an elected leader can accept from someone who is not a relative or close friend. That amount increases with inflation and is currently $65.

The GOP is a giant clown car.

What's next. Massive, massive voter turnout.

Cope and seethe, loser, cope an seethe.

NC is tough for the Dems, but I like Beasley’s chances against Ted Budd this fall.

The Dems have played a curious game of wanting to be all things to all left leaning people, often pandering to the fringe to keep them voting Dem. To the point the fringe is now heavily invested in the party where classic liberals, the likes of Musk, Dave Rubin, and even Bill Maher, are starting to point how just how crazy and divided the party is.  The only thing that helped Biden/ Dems was all the negative Trump energy & fear mongering of COVID in 2020.

But with what has happened since Biden took office, with it being an utter disaster at every turn, it will be hard for the Dems to whip up that kind of energy again in 2024 just on Trump/ COVID madness. People are aware it was much better even under Trump, and they see just how far of the rails the Dem Party has gone recently.

The Dems only hope is that if the Repubs get control of both the house and senate in 2020, that with them policing Biden, that far fewer disasters happen,  which then limits/lessons the damage done, and people fall for the leftist media narratives once again.

You're completely discounting roe v wade. It would be like outlawing guns for republicans. This was a total gift for the democrats and something I was actively rooting for.
