I don't think there's any evidence of that but according to police there's no indication that it was politically motivated, which is what Little Marco said. He also said 4 guys beat him up when the police only said 2 and he implied that this area was some kind of liberal stronghold that didn't welcome Republicans when it's a deep red area. Basically Marco's crying wolf/playing the victim/going full divisive despite being wrong about everything. It's pathetic.
