February 17, 20214 yr This fight was a foregone conclusion once Trump acted the way he did after Nov 3. Any chance to alter the course or lessen the level of fight was removed on Jan 6. Mitch chose not to take the frontal attack until after the acquittal. I'm not so sure that was the right approach from his perspective. Sometimes you have to take your shot. Unless he has an ace in the hole he may have to wait for quite a while now for the next opportunity.

Possible Senate candidate Ryan Costello had the gall to defend Toomey, saying censure would hurt future GOP candidates. Bannon's response is the GOP Senate candidate must be "full Trump MAGA'. 2. A plan to make Trump Speaker of the House, in order to impeach Biden. 3. Any commission investigating the Capitol riot must downplay Trump's role in it, or else it will be attacked as blindly partisan.
