April 11, 20232 yr Disney is a business. They are not playing politics, they're only worried about turning a profit. Disney already has it figured out, they will be fine whether they have a Florida resort or not. Disney has all the resources to wait it out for a more reasonable government to take the place of DeSantis. How long will Florida conservatives keep making these reckless decisions, to piss everyone off until they stop vacationing in the state? It'll be all the rednecks in Florida holding all the purse strings, left with an empty rundown swampy wasteland, wondering what happened to their old vacation mecca in the middle of the state.... Ultimately it's up to Florida to choose: Do they want the windfalls of being a tourist destination? Or have they turned into a bunch of old curmudgeons and yokels that want everyone off their lawn?
