The part of that that makes me laugh is knowing at least one member of this board (probably more than one) did without so they could accumulate that 105 million, but none of them will ever admit to getting conned out of their money lol.
August 1, 20232 yr North Carolina politician that switched parties from D to R was a Republican plant all along.

Dems should do it too. Put up a candidate in deep red districts and just feed him stupid nonsense to spout, make sure he's the dumbest/craziest one in the field at all times, then when he's elected, just switch parties. I'd expect the Republicans to do this with regularity going forward since they're a dying party, so the Dems should follow suit.

Hunter Biden "was selling the illusion of access to his father," Archer told the panel, according to Goldman -- but never directly involved his father in any of their business dealings. "The witness repeated over and over and over again, that the President Biden never discussed any business dealings of hunters with Hunter or anyone else," Goldman said. Goldman added, "So, the implication that because Hunter put his father on the speakerphone with people that Hunter was doing business with, had meant that President Biden had any discussions about business is false."

She has been elected and served in NC house as a Democrat before. Then she chose not to run for reelection and became a lobbyist. She is a former teacher and assistant principal, and she has Democrat connections in her family. Here's an old link to her campaign site: https://web.archive.org/web/20230405171139/https://www.triciacotham.org/

August 2, 20232 yr I like him too. I watched an interview with him Sunday. He seems moderate. Interesting wiki page. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Will_Hurd Quote Hurd worked for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) for nine years, from 2000 to 2009. He was stationed primarily in Washington, D.C., but his tour of duty included being an operations officer in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India.[6][7] He speaks Urdu,[8] the national language and lingua franca of Pakistan, where he worked undercover.[8] One of his roles at the CIA was briefing members of Congress, which is what made Hurd want to pursue politics.[9] He returned to Texas after his CIA service and worked as a partner with Crumpton Group LLC, a strategic advisory firm, and as a senior adviser with FusionX, a cybersecurity firm.[6]
