September 29Sep 29 Bush mastermind Karl Rove says the GOP is being taken over by NSDAPs, and that Ted Cruz and Ken Paxton both came to him in the last 48 hours admitting they're losing Texas. These are not the same Republicans, and the man who built the old ones is the one telling you.Rove dropped all of this Saturday on stage at the Texas Tribune Festival in Austin, as reported by the Texas Tribune and the San Antonio Current.Cruz's message to him was blunt: "We're losing."Paxton, Trump's handpicked Senate nominee, sent multiple emails begging for help against Democrat James Talarico. That's with more than $100 million from a GOP super PAC already propping him up.Rove says Cornyn would have had this race locked. But Trump endorsed Paxton, Cornyn lost the primary, and now Republicans are defending a guy Rove described as juggling girlfriends and pocketing $200,000 in home renovations from a crooked businessman he did favors for. Then Rove went further.Earlier this month, UT pulled off a last-second comeback over No. 1 Ohio State. Students flooded the stands in burnt orange, screaming, hugging, losing their minds.Bo French, the GOP nominee for Texas Railroad Commissioner, saw a photo of those kids, many of them South Asian, and saw an invasion. He posted it with a sneer about what UT graduation supposedly looks like now.At least two of those students told the Dallas Morning News they're U.S. citizens. They were college kids cheering for their team. That's it.Rove torched French in the Wall Street Journal, calling the post "raw, uncut bigotry," and said he'll vote for Democrat Jon Rosenthal. Only the second Democrat Rove has voted for in his life.French has history. He once asked his followers whether Jews or Muslims were the bigger threat to America. And Rove pointed out that Nick Fuentes, whom he flatly called a NSDAP, came to Dallas and sat down with Republican leaders.Nobody should mistake Rove for a hero. He sold the Iraq War and spent decades teaching his party to win ugly. But when the guy who built the machine says bigots are driving it now, he isn't guessing. He's seen the wiring. And Trump's response when Rove refused to back a man who smeared a crowd of college kids?He called Rove a "stone cold loser."Not the bigot. The guy who called out the bigot.
September 29Sep 29 "is being taken over"? No. NSDAPs and fascists are fully entrenched into the Republican Party.
September 30Sep 30 Tryin to smear Jack Smith with made up and manufactured evidence. Republican fraud has nothing else.

September 30Sep 30 Hilarious but 100% true. So much of the right's thrust over the last decade or so has been forcing normal people not to shun them no matter how repulsive they are. With families it's obviously harder but you can bet they'll find a way with the help of big daddy government.

October 1Oct 1 https://thehill.com/policy/defense/6121765-pete-hegseth-takeaways-command-warfare-base/amp/States invited to bid for ‘next great American’ baseHegseth invited governors to bid for their state to be the home of the "next great American” base."We’re calling on every governor in the country and adjutant general, every tag across this great republic, to step up to the plate and bring us their best sales pitch,” the Defense secretary said."If your state wants the honor of hosting 15,000 to 25,000 of America’s great troops, show us why and how you’re going to do it, cutting through the red tape, offering up the land and rolling out the red carpet for our military families,” he said during the speech. Naval Station Everett in Washington state was the most recent base built inside the U.S., opening in the 1990s. The base is home to several guided-missile destroyers and Coast Guard ships.Hegseth said the new base will not be a "soulless government installation,” arguing the Pentagon will "plan out and chart out a dynamic, self-sustaining power projection platform.” The Pentagon said the base will be off the commercial grid, featuring independent power generation, autonomous systems and advanced air defenses."We’re talking hundreds of thousands of acres with organic power generation, modern air defenses, and cutting-edge technology, think a fortress,” the secretary said. Service members will have "first-class barracks, world-class training facilities, and thriving communities with top-tier housing, school, childcare and healthcare for families.”‘Fortress America’ takes bases off civilian gridAnother new initiative revealed Wednesday is "Fortress America,” which Hegseth claimed will be "a national insurance policy for the American homeland.”Under Fortress, which stands for "Federal Operations for Resilience, Troop Resources, Energy Supply and Survivability,” every major military installation in America would generate its own power independent of the civilian grid, according to Hegseth. "If an adversary takes down the grid by cyberattack, by sabotage, or by any means, our bases stay lit. Our aircraft keep flying. Our command centers never go dark,” he said. The effort also is meant to bring critical supply chains home, including rare earth minerals, specialty metals, semiconductors and propellants "mined in America, refined in America, built in America by American workers.”In addition, the Pentagon would build up strategic reserves of such critical needs as munitions, fuel, medicine and blood "deep enough that if the world’s supply lines break — and in a real war, they’re going to break — America keeps fighting anyway,” Hegseth said. To accomplish this, Hegseth said the U.S. military is "hardening every installation on American soil against cyber intrusion, sabotage and drones, and we’re securing the high ground and the airwaves, our satellites, our spectrum,” claiming that the DOD "will be the insurance policy for the entire nation.”
