Help from Mike. You know, in reference to the post I quoted when I refered to you as the twerp you are.

But let's play this out, Slappy. Do you think it's a good idea for couple to stay married, even if they don't want to, for 'tax relief"? Would you?

What "tax relief" might you be referring to?

Yes you asked, and I gave you my answer. I don't really care if you comprehend it or not, if that helps you understand my previous reply.

Trumpbot,

It has been a LONG 100 days.

Joe Biden has spent the last 100 days trying to force his radical agenda on the nation over the objections of Republicans in Congress and MILLIONS of grassroots Conservatives.

In only 100 days, Joe Biden has caused a crisis along our Southern Border, threatened to undo the Trump Tax Cuts, and has fought to destroy our Second Amendment.

The Republican Party is committed to holding Joe Biden accountable for pandering to the Radical Left, but we need to break through the Liberal News Media filter first.

To do that, we need millions of Americans to take our Official Survey on Joe Biden’s First 100 Days so that the results will be IMPOSSIBLE to ignore. Can we count on your help?

Please take our Official Survey on Joe Biden’s First 100 Days in the NEXT HOUR and help make the results impossible for the media to ignore. >>

We really need you to rate Joe Biden’s first 100 days by taking our survey and help make sure the TRUTH about where the American People stand is revealed!

Please take our Official Survey on Joe Biden’s First 100 Days RIGHT NOW to help break through the Liberal News Media narrative.

Thank you,

Republican National Committee HQ

I really don't get it. Republicans lost the White House, lost majorities in the House and Senate.  You've got 2 years to midterms, 4 years before another Presidential election. Time to rid yourself of the losers and regroup. Instead, they're doubling down on what lost them these recent elections.

They have this fantasy that Trump won't run, but they're be able to build a coalition of Trumpbots and classic republicans, which is never going to happen.

I have no idea what classic Republicans stand to gain from any of this.  The Populist/Trumpbots aren't conservatives.  They're big government protectionists that'll end up dropping the lower tax agenda like a bad habit when it's all said and done because it's not core to their ideology.  The only things that are are no abortion and closed borders.

The devil's bargain that the Republicans made in the 70's is over.  It's done.  Trump quickly killed it and it's final nail happened in the winter.  The lunatics that they placated for so long without doing anything for them won the battle.  They multiplied while the traditional Republicans contracted.  Classic Republicans are absolutely insane not to put in a full court press to cut out the cancer.  But clearly they're not going to.  And all they're going to get for it is more populism and less conservatism.  yay.

It's more about the power for them. Stacking courts with judges, keeping corporate tax loopholes so people who work for a living bear the brunt of the tax burden. While Trump isn't a conservative, that tax reform bill was a huge windfall for the plutocrats. The populism Trump represents is all talk, at least it has been so far. Remember when Ivanka was put in charge of implementing universal pre k?

Yes and no.  As far as bringing popular expansive programs to the table, it was a nothing burger, but as far as training the rank and file in the party to accept big spending and picking winners and losers, it was extremely effective.  He did more for the Democratic Party's ideological messaging outreach than anyone in history.

And since classic Republicans don't have the backbone to separate themselves from the Trump wing, you can all but guarantee that their next guy will adopt the Trump rhetoric/ideology (assuming the next guy isn't Trump himself).  And at some point, these people that they've trained to want populism will actually ask for populist programs.
