May 27, 20214 yr I couldn't go more than a mile or so in any direction in NC without seeing a Baptist church. (Meanwhile there was one Catholic church serving the entire southeastern part of the state. You couldn't get into that place on a Sunday or Holiday unless you showed up 2 hours early). Our neighborhood in NC had 2 Baptist churches that couldn't have been more than 100 yards from each other. I kept thinking why do they need to have 2 of them so close together. Then on Sunday when I saw everyone come out of each one, it became obvious.

If the Cheney vote had been secret ballot, I wonder how differently it might have turned out.
