A lot of the super religious folks are also super into Trump. Which when you think about it is hilarious. Especially if you ever spent time in Atlantic City back when he owned a bunch of the places on the boardwalk. It was crawling with drug dealers and prostitutes.  Lol

I couldn't go more than a mile or so in any direction in NC without seeing a Baptist church. (Meanwhile there was one Catholic church serving the entire southeastern part of the state. You couldn't get into that place on a Sunday or Holiday unless you showed up 2 hours early). Our neighborhood in NC had 2 Baptist churches that couldn't have been more than 100 yards from each other. I kept thinking why do they need to have 2 of them so close together. Then on Sunday when I saw everyone come out of each one, it became obvious.

Agree with the sentiment. But lose the heaven part.

If you are truly devout, you should not be "into" any politician.  Just my opinion.

Marjorie Taylor Greene Says She and Matt Gaetz Are 'Taking Charge' Amid GOP 'Civil War'

"Matt and I have teamed up because we refuse to allow Liz Cheney or Adam Kinzinger or any Trump-hating Republican ... we won't allow the GOP to turn into their party. So we're taking charge. We're bringing it to the people," she said during a recent interview with the Real America's Voice network.

"We know what the people want," she continued. "The people overwhelmingly support President Trump as the leader of the Republican Party."

MTG is Trump without a deek.  Well, maybe more like Trump with a smaller deek.

Is it fair to call it a civil "war" when it's long been over after one side vastly outnumbered the other?

When they can name only one other member of congress that stood with Cheney, that's not war. That's a summary execution.

I do think private vs public sentiments are very different.

If the Cheney vote had been secret ballot, I wonder how differently it might have turned out.

Rep. Matt Gaetz, the Florida Republican under federal investigation for alleged sex trafficking, suggested Thursday that followers should use their Second Amendment rights against social media companies that silence conservatives.

"The internet’s hall monitors out in Silicon Valley, they think they can suppress us, discourage us,” he said at a rally in Dalton, Georgia, co-hosted by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.). "Well you know what? Silicon Valley can’t cancel this movement, or this rally, or this congressman. We have a Second Amendment in this country, and I think we have an obligation to use it.

If they don't stand with someone like Cheney publicly, it doesn't really matter what their feelings are privately.

If they start killing people in Silicon Valley I’m sure only positive articles about conservatives will show up in search engines.

Here's the thing: We're already set up nicely for the next nightmare scenario. Like Hitler, Trump is 10x as dangerous now that he is literally a wanted man. It feeds into the persecutorial complex/victim mentality that he has already been cultivating for some time, so he remains popular with the base and it reinforces the idea of unfair treatment with rank-and-file Republicans. Now, he literally can frame this as a war and struggle for life and liberty, and what's worse is that it's very easy for him to dip back into the 2016 greatest hits for 2024. So, he's under felony investigation. The wheels of justice move incredibly slow, so I can already see his case being tied up for another 4 years. So, in 2024, everyone on the left is yelling that he shouldn't be allowed to run."Why not? Whatabout Hillary?" he says. "Hillary was under investigation when she ran in 2016, and no one batted an eye. What's fair is fair.  I'm innocent, but what Hillary did was much worse anyway." He successfully muddies the waters and, in the midst of all of this, there's nothing we can do to stop it. The rallies grow louder, more provocative, and more violent. The left, in the midst of its own civil war, fails to coalesce around Biden a second time, while the Justice Department stumbles and can't put together a case fast enough. Trump wins another term, and now he's a second-term neofascist with more bones to pick than every before. That's when things really start to unravel and the purge begins.

Matt Gaetz can be his henchman.

Buckle up. Fascists still gonna fascist.

Let me know when MTG and AOC dyke it out.  Speaking of which...I wonder if such a video exists on the Hub.

It would be like a tranny neanderthal (MTG) blasting a horse (AOC) in the sheet machine.

Gaetz is deplorable and calling for violence, should not only be removed from office but in jail.

Of course he'll probably be a top 2024 candidate. Disgusting.

Gaetz and MTG ticket. A ticket Trumplicans can get behind.
