July 11, 20214 yr So JFK, JR. is still alive. Trump supporters flocked to take photos with man they believe is JFK Jr, who died in a plane crash in 1999 by Tammy Marie Rose June 28, 2021 Although John F. Kennedy Jr. died in a plane crash in 1999 alongside his wife Carolyn and sister-in-law Lauren Bessette, some Trump fans believe he is still alive and supports the former president.

July 11, 20214 yr Just becoming more and more irrelevant... https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-easily-wins-cpac-2024-gop-presidential-nomination-straw-poll "Trump, who’s repeatedly flirted with making another presidential run in 2024 to try and return to the White House, captured 70% of ballots cast in the anonymous straw poll, according to results announced by CPAC on Sunday afternoon. That's a boost from the 55% support he won in the hypothetical 2024 Republican primary matchup straw poll at CPAC Orlando in late February."
July 12, 20214 yr GOP war rages and centrists hit pro-Trump 'wackadoodles' Paul Bedard Mon, July 12, 2021, 8:55 AM The internal Republican Party war continues to be red-hot between the pro-Trump and anti-Trump camps. As Donald Trump’s supporters, including Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert, Matt Gaetz, and Paul Gosar ride high with the former president’s supporters, former centrist GOP House members slammed them as "fringe” politicians. Former Rep. Charlie Dent said that, in the past, these were "people who show up at a state party convention and you know they’d be kind of sitting out there, behind one of those stands, and you kind of ignore them. You laugh at them. You walk by.” Now, said Dent, who retired in 2018, "some of these people [are] on the stage.” He called them "wackadoodles.” Former Virginia Rep. Barbara Comstock, who lost in the anti-Trump 2018 midterm elections, referred to the Trump loyalists as stupid and idiots. "They so many say so many stupid things every day,” she said, referring to Greene, Boebert, Gaetz, and Gosar. She predicted to a New York University audience that it could take three elections to "wash” them out. "I do think some of that will wash out. You know maybe it's going to take a few more cycles, maybe Republicans are going to have to lose more...before they wake up and say, ‘Well wow maybe, you know, all these you know isolationism and nationalism, and just plain stupid, embarrassing candidates aren't the way to the majority,” she said. The GOP fight has been ongoing since former President Donald Trump left town. Centrists such as Comstock and Dent have been overshadowed by Trump loyalists, especially after the Jan. 6 Capitol riot and election fight. The former No. 3 House Republican, Rep. Liz Cheney, for example, was removed from her post for taking anti-Trump positions.

I'd much rather see butthurt Trumplicans leave the party so that the party can heal rather than trying to re-affirm its grasp on it as a whole. though even if Trumplicans left the party there are some serious issues that need to be dealt with. the party need to update its platform for 2021+ around whatever it decides its core values are.

Give it up dude. There is no hope for the republican party. It's Trump's party forever. Even when he eventually croaks, it will still be his party. This is permanent. Mike Lee sad it best when he talked about what the party stands for... Isolation. Gun rights. Plutocracy.

Right. Losing a Trumpbot is a win for the rational Republican party. Good riddance. So what is the platform going forward? They tied it completely to god-emperor Trump in 2020, then he lost, now what? The current platform is a proven loser based on 2020 results.
