Yup. Probably the fastest QB in the draft that can actually throw the ball like a QB lol. I slept on it and I think I get it now. Given the propensity for Wentz to get hurt you need a developmental QB in the wings. Plus he can give you a little bit of value on the ground in short yardage situations and such (a la Hill as everyone has been referencing). Given his running ability think of what that does for Sanders on the RPOs. Opens things up quite a bit when you have a duel threat out there. So he may be able to contribute right away in certain game time situations. There are still some pretty athletic players out there and I wouldn't doubt if the Eagles continue this trend of fast athletic players that need some coaching up. I gotta say it's a refreshing approach from the last few years when it seemed they valued statistical production over projection based on athleticism. The kicker... we now have two QBs that are better than Dakota

You make this pick when your QB just came off his first major concussion (the brief memory loss probably scared the hell out of the organization) and hasn't been able to stay on the field. Let's not pretend that our 130M QB is a picture of health. Eagles are investing in athleticism and I can get on board with that. By the way Taylor was the only guy I got somewhat right in my Speedz mock draft. 

I thought late third early fourth for this guy. I would have gone another way but can't get too upset. Howie loves speed at LB, Hicks and a Kendricks are to examples of that.

I was curious about that myself. Who makes a highlight vid...that contains no highlights. 
 

All that clip did was show he was on the field. I supposed it could be useful if he needs an alibi for the time that game was played, but it served no other purpose.

We have a lot of 4th round picks. Still some speed and athleticism out there to get. All the speedzzz is still somewhat true here 🙂 Some of the fastest guys at their relative positions so far.

Then don't give him a major contract. One concussion shouldn't change things this much.

Looks more like a nickel big safety then a LB. Prob faster then Jenkins was, lol. Hes your Grugier- Hill/Kendricks project.

I agree with that. Part of the reason I’m not all that concerned with Wentz. The ironic part is, had we missed the playoffs, people are happy he completed a season.

Ive said this in the past, speed is nice to have but has to have football skills to go with it. I do think they are reaching this draft to just get speed projects which could bite him in the you know what. This is not Madden but some are treating it like it is.

what I got from his Highlight video. Fast going to the sideline. He's good at making the open field tackles. He can tackle the tight end. Not sure about his pass coverage skills or his ability to stop the run.
