Yeah, it's nice they've made some pretty good late round picks here, but that's not going to change what they did to Wentz.

Someone always says that every draft. Really cant say anything till min 2 years later. 

I think how impact full the coaching staff is in coaching these guys up will determine if this draft is solid or another draft we are saying did not turn out well.

Eh I disagree. I’ve been thinking a lot about it... We all know Carson is a simple dude...hunting, fishing, ministry, etc. He already has more money than he or his kids will ever need. I don’t see him being an Eli, Rivers, Ben, Brees, Brady, Rodgers, etc. playing into his late 30’s or to 40. We may have 4-5 more years out of him until he calls it quits (or less if he one day pulls a Luck over mounting injuries). Jalen will be 25-26 at that time.  Sudfeld is also going to move on after this year. And we all know Carson’s odds of finishing a full season like it or not, aren’t the greatest. I don’t love it at 53, but I’m beginning to understand it a bit more.

It all depends. The Eagles knew what they were doing, and the blowback they would face. So they must think really, really highly of this kid. And we have seen what happened with the last QB that they liked a lot.

I see it more as giving Wentz a room full of young WRs that he can influence and having a backup QB that will look up to him and not have a veteran overshadowing him

I'm loving this draft outside of the Hurts pick. Still don't hate it, but dislike it a lot.

i have warmed up to the jalen hurts pick , cause at some point this team is going to need his talent as a play making QB that's been in big games. history has shown that to us eagles fans and i'm a huge carson fan. now that said i hope i'm wrong and wentz plays to the big game and wins it.
