I believe they think he's gonna get hurt again. They probably still have a sour taste on their mouth from the Seahawks game in the playoffs.  A descent back up probably would've won that game for us. If Wentz stays upright and 2 of these speed demon WRs make an impact this year then I'm fine with Hurts as a 2nd round backup.

I can see that. I just feel with Sweat, Miller, Avery, etc. we have plenty of unproven rotational DEs. I could see a CB here too.
