I imagine it won't cost anything to cut him though. Unless there's guaranteed money on there, I wouldn't think he's a lock in any way.

Depends if he's healthy or not. If he is he can help, if not they cut him and lose nothing. Worth the risk.

FWIW Jeremiah just named us and the Ravens as most improved teams following the conclusion of the draft.

I’d say Alshon and JJAW are competing for a spot, although I don’t think it’s an even comp, JJAW just has to be a viable 4th guy to make it.

I don't think Alshon is a factor. I'd be surprised if he is healthy at all next season. I think they will keep 6 and there will be 4 spots available to Goodwin, JJAW, Ward, Hightower, and Watkins. Lots of competition. 

Eagles and Goodwin agreed to a one year 1.25 mil contract. We can stop talking about what he's making now 🙄

Alshon is going to start the season on PUP anyway.

JJAW will prove the doubters wrong this season.  I liked him coming out and still do. Didn't help he had a garbage wr coach last season

Outside of the 2nd rd pick, I am happy with this draft. They got younger, faster, and much more optional athletically and offensively. The pieces on D, should provide immediate impact.

Agholor got loose a few times and failed to bring down the pass. That will get old quick if these young guys just run fast and drop the ball.

I'm disappointed they didn't draft more defense, but the two guys they got are potential tackling machines.  Fan Fave types.  The word of the day for defensive trends is amorphous.  More tweeners and hybrids types.  Bill Bellicheck made his statement about it this draft and the eagles did too.
