If we can land a 10 year starter stud LB to man the middle of the defense like a Kuechly, Willis, Bowman, Wagner, etc. that would be huge for the defense. Something the Eagles have lacked for over a decade.

13th was not an option - Tampa Bay traded up from 14, so SF did not want to drop down further than that.

14th was not an option - SF traded down only one spot and clearly liked the guy they picked.

15th was not an option - Denver needed a WR and picked Jeudy, and was not likely to want to move down.

16th might have been an option, but Atlanta did not trade down so they liked the guy they got, and for all we know were asking for the Eagles 2020 1st and 2nd and 2021 1st to give up that pick.

So you guys can whine all you want about Howie, but it is not like some other team traded down below the Eagles spot which would have shown there was an opportunity.

Missing out on Lamb is short sighted. Yeah it sucks but there are still good football players left on the board.
