Awwww are you triggered cause I don't like your guy at that pick?

Nah not triggered. I just find it funny that you openly admit to having limited knowledge of college football and the draft and then criticize a player who you "don’t even know who he is.” It’s providing me entertainment, so thank you. Can you put your top 6 out now?

If this forum is ready to go for the Draft I say we post here and not on that 'other' site.  Leave it an effing ghost town so the Eagles PR/marketing team can see what they're missing out on with most

Howie needs to stop the other 31 teams from participating in the draft!

Edwards-Helaire over Swift and Dobbins?????

When you start attacking people because they don't agree with you that pretty much screams triggered.

It's OUR example though.  We picked JJAW over Metcalf and the board lost it.  Now we pick the tools guy and we should've picked the guy with more production (who had the Heisman winner throwing to him and had the Biletnikoff winner lining up opposite of him.)

Yeah, I am more in the trading down camp rather than pounding the table for Jefferson, adding a draft pick while still picking up one of the several very good WR prospects in this draft (including Raegor or Jefferson if he had fallen) later in the 1st or early in the 2nd.  But hey, I am still an optimist ... I hope I am wrong as hell and that the FO is right on Raegor, and will be rooting like hell for him.

I am not so much obsessed with size as physically dominating the opponent. I want the opposing defensive coordinator scratching his head and losing sleep because he cannot come up with a scheme to handle the strength, speed and contested ball capabilities of Eagles receivers.  The Eagles rarely try to get guys like that.  In fairness, Alshon is kind of in that mold, but has just been too injured to take advantage, and they did take a shot in the dark with Arcega-Whiteside.

One can come up with examples of guys shorter than, say, 6'1", who are great WRs in the NFL, but it is a pretty short list.  (Heh, did you see what I did there?!?)  And the guys that fall short of that tend to be your Freddie Mitchells (5'11") or Todd Pinkstons (181 pounds).

Alshon has speed?  That was never his game.

Big Red goes RB. Still a chance for Mims! 🙂

He fits what Reid wants to do on offense

It’s not so much your opinion, it’s the smug certainty you seem to be projecting it with...all the while admitting you’ve never seen him play.

The next Brian Westbrook.

This RB looks slow.

Would you guys do this and I wonder if Howie offered it. I put the draft value from the famous Jimmie Johnson draft value chart in parentheses.

to Atlanta: Eagles 1st (800), 2nd (370), 5th (33) = 1203

to Philly: Atlanta 1st (1000) 3rd (200) = 1200

Yeah I stand by my opinion. Who doesn't?

If you had this guy over Lamb you don't watch ANY football.

I dont watch college football i find it boring as no one plays defense.

I watch some tape at the end of the year.

Lamb is a well rounded receiver he doesnt have any elite traits. Average height weight length strength and speed, i like that his coaches talk about how hard he works and wants to learn and how hard he plays but when i watch him i dont see much that jumps off the tape, hes not an elite route runner like juedy he doesnt have elite speed like ruggs and he doesnt have elite length like higgins hes just reallt good at everything.

Reagor has elite speed and explosion numbers on tape he runs violent nuanced routes and i felt he fit what the eagles needed more than lamb and jefferson.

Well see though what happens. I would have been fine with lamb but reagors speed and explosion give him a higher ceiling in my opinion over lamb and jefferson.

The fact that Aiyuk was picked in round 1 just meant that we needed to sit still and take the guy we liked who fit a need

It’s an uneducated opinion that you pulled out of your arse. Bottom line, we’re all Birds fans and everyone while maybe not on board with this kid should be rooting for him to be a stud, same as with JJAW.

It might be worth it just to screw Dallas again...

Yeah... shocked by that one. Watch Cincinnati some how come away with the Best WR in the draft. They always seem to do that. They just can't get anything else right lol.

There's no way to know what they offered.  Maybe Atlanta was scared that Dallas would take Terrell.  Maybe they asked for too much from us.  Maybe they didn't want to trade at all.

To be proven right fans would hope for the demise of a player. Sad.

Yup tried and true TATER logic😒

Dallas got a shiny offensive toy, but their defense is really bad.

You don't watch much college football do you? They're in the Big 12 playing Texas and Oklahoma. Had a bad year last year but have had quite a few bowl games.

He isn't a 1st rounder, They could have gotten him in the 2nd round AND took a better WR in the 1st round.

Is Steve Smith high on the air right now?

That is your opinion. Btw most of the actual experts opinions had Jefferson rated MUCH higher than Reagalor. I hope I'm wrong. I really do. But i'm very very disappointed right now. I came into the night wanting a game changing WR and I do not believe we got that.

Dallas should've drafted Ruiz.  He would've been a day 1 starter.
