If this forum is ready to go for the Draft I say we post here and not on that 'other' site.  Leave it an effing ghost town so the Eagles PR/marketing team can see what they're missing out on with most

Howie needs to stop the other 31 teams from participating in the draft!

You all do realize that most peoples anger is coming from lamb going to jerruh right? Unfortunately this kid is gonna be the punching bag for that for a day or two. That was a disaster.

Alshon has speed?  That was never his game.

Alshon ran a 4.48 at the 2012 combine and a 4.38 at his pro day, so yeah, that is plenty fast for a guy who is capable of physically dominating with his 6'3" 218 body.

He has a solid build too at 5-11 200. I want Ruggs then Juedy first but I haven't been this excited about a WR since we drafted DJax

I really liked/like reagor. He was my 3rd rated WR for the eagles behind juedy and ruggs.

Glad they got him hope hell be good!

The fact that his QB play absolutely sucked monkey balls is promising.

Yep look at this previous year stats vs last year. That wasn't a decline in his ability.

Reagormortis if he sucks in 2 years.

If Howie blows this, it should be the final straw. If Howie drafts the lemon in this WR crop, then I don't know if Lurie can continue to justify him staying.

And that was the last time alshon ran under a 4.5 😄

Youre just a heightest😊

Yeah, I admit, I am a little bit. :-)  But it is really more about the ability to physically dominate rather than raw height ... the height does not do you much good if you are built like Todd Pinkston.

Yeah the injuries have really taken their toll (plus he was probably juicin)

He has to draft at least one more.

Yeah, you are probably right.  I bet he ran 4.55 or better though until injuries started taking their toll.

But did you see Big Red's shirt?

Pinkstons build helped him avoid contact, with the ball the world my vision dude would turn sideways and hed disappear lol

Honestly after lamb going to the girls the rest of the draft is a angry blur. I will admit getting a chuckle hearing packers pick. Ol discount double check is gonna be on the warpath.

Agreed. But, he needs to get this right. The WR scouting for this franchise has been subpar for decades. I think most of these WRs are going to stick, so you don't want to be the GM that drafts the lemons or the crop. But, also the WR coaching needs to be better. Our WR coaching hasn't been great with Culley and Walsh. Groh was a little better than those two as WR coach. But, seriously, this franchise needs to learn how to draft and develop WRs.

Yup. A rod seems like kind of a D but its not like favre treated him any better.

Agholor was certainly disappointing. When he did catch the damn ball he made plays. Had a little explosiveness to him. Just couldn't put it all together. Everyone else we've been drafting just didn't have the athletic chops it seems.

Yeah I was shocked with WRs still on the board that could certainly help him out. But you would have chuckled at Big Red's shirt as well.

I love you guys. I hate hate hate hate that jerruh got Lamb. My night was ruined after that. Yep I'm butthurt.

It's still blazing. Living in Texas I watched few of his games last year and looking at highlights he was clearly the fast guy on the field. He's our legit deep threat but not just a 1 trick pony either. He's all over the field with screens, slants, over middle, and on a go route. PR skills are an added bonus as well.

Jalen Reagor is such a stud wish people could see it, the way he snaps in his routes is nuts

And, that's where the poor WR scouting comes in.  They have to be able to sift through game tape and weigh that vs. combine stats and interviews and identify who will translate to the NFL.

Just now, judunno said:

A few points about that.

First, the pro day 40 was hand-timed, probably by someone from TCU who was rooting hard for Raegor - that time was a quarter second faster than at the combine, timed by a neutral person.  At the very least, a bit of skepticism on the time is called for.

Second, the reason he picked up that weight for the combine is probably because he thought he needed to demonstrate to scouts that he could perform at a high level with more weight/muscle on his body, e.g., to help him get off the line in press coverage.  Soooo yeah, mission definitely not accomplished there.  He may have to play at the lighter weight, with the physical disadvantages that come with that.

Finally, this is probably a situation where it would have been really comforting for your team's scouts to be physically present to verify the numbers, and the Eagles did not have that luxury.

@20dawk4life did I do it right?

I hear you. Honestly I’m glad we didn’t trade up. We’ve only made 10 total picks the past two years. We need youth on this team. The draft is a crapshoot sometimes pick volume is just better as it gives you more chances to land a stud. Please take my word for it, Reagor is a game changer for this offense. You need to watch some of his games from 2018 when the Frogs had an average QB not the noodle armed limpdick they had throwing last year.
