Uhh, no, I remember saying it was going to be like the flu and you wrote some dissertation on why the vaccines could eradicate it. You've been horribly wrong with virtually every prediction. Which makes it so funny that you come in here constantly and regurgitate talking points from whatever article you just read on the subject and pass it off as your own opinion.

I still don't think it's going to be like the flu, an R0 of 7+ now makes that a pipe dream, but I never said eradication was likely even pre-delta. I had hoped we could drive the numbers way down to be marginal but Delta changed that timeline.

And I always post links to the articles and tweets from where I've read about any developments. But it's cute when you think you can finally try to have a conversation with adults despite being mentally handicapped.

I do think Omicron is the coolest name of all of the variants.

Wonder why we skipped Xi?  Probably too...

I don't know the Greek alphabet, is Xi before Omicron?

Admitting that your predictions suck? Maybe you aren't the EMB's Fauci after all. Too short, too.

So to be fair, they skipped a lot.  But skipping Xi is too funny.

They only skipped two and they had reasons.  All the other letters have real variants out there.  They just aren't that interesting because they never mounted to much.

We all know the real reason they skipped Xi.

Good News maybe

https://www.jpost.com/health-and-wellness/coronavirus/covid-1st-data-about-vaccine-efficacy-against-omicron-expected-tuesday-687392

Later in the evening, a report by Channel 12 said the Pfizer vaccine is just slightly less effective in preventing infection with Omicron than with Delta – 90% as opposed to 95% – while it is as effective in preventing serious symptoms – around 93% – at least for those vaccinated with a booster.

The disappearing VP. Now you see her, now you don’t

That's definitely good, especially considering omicron has not led to any serious symptoms yet from what I can gather.  Anyone else nerd out and think of this when they hear omicron?

I did. A few years ago they had a one day event and played it in the theater. I got to bring my son, it was great.

My son loved the original Transformers: The Movie from '87 as well.  We really grew up on better cartoons then the crap these kids have now.

Action cartoons? 100 percent. But humor? A lot of newer cartoons are extremely funny.

let me tell you something: don't watch the original cartoons. the movie holds up, but a lot of the cartoons we watched as kids? best to leave them to nostalgia

I meant the stuff geared towards 6-10 year old boys.  I grew up on TF, GI Joe, Thundercats, etc.

yeah that is definitely an exception.

animaniacs also has some great moments.

though to be fair these were more like late teen shows for me. growing up it was transformers / gi joe / voltron type stuff. the latter in particular were terrible to re-watch, though the updated versions on Netflix are solid.

Animaniacs had so much adult humor that went over my head as a kid.  "Finger Prince?"

So many crappy cartoons that I loved as a kid...He-Man, BraveStarr, SIlverHawks, MASK, etc.
