Yes, Kz, I am out there doing MORE fun things than you.  I am triple vaxxed and do not fear Covid.  I take precuations to not spread among the unvaxxed or immunocompromised. I behave better if I know something important I can't miss is coming up.  There is no hypocrisy, just a few perfectly manageable adjustments to regular life.  You're the one with your panties in a bunch looking for excuses to inconvenience your neighbors.

First, I question anyone outside of their early 20s that enjoys clubbing. It's awful. I'm happy I'm married and will never have to even consider it again.

Second, I've already said I'm no longer altering my life to avoid the virus at all, so I'm doing what I want as well. You went clubbing during a pandemic so you whining about whether or not someone is wearing a cloth over their nose just falls a little flat.

I hardly see anyone wearing a proper mask, shut down the elevators, 2 weeks to stop the spread!!!

It's really not that complicated. I'll wear a mask if I enter a business that requires it, since I don't have a Constitutional right to enter a Starbucks. I'm vaccinated and boosted, so I'm basically just living my life. The only qualifier is I'm about to see my father-in-law who is immunocompromised, so I'll be careful before heading to his house. That's a personal situation which requires extra caution.

We need to stop with mask mandates and shutdowns. Stop making rules designed to protect idiots from the consequences of their own stupidity. Stop covering medical care for the unvaccinated, and let them do whatever they please. It's time to get back to normal life.

I agree with 90% of this.  Mask mandates in certain public spaces is fine, but lockdowns are over.

And he's here to say that clubbing maskless is fine, but don't you dare go near an elevator with a mask below your nose or you're just a selfish ahole!

Someone explain this, IF I am vaxxed and in a club it is ok to not wear a mask and be around you but if I am on an elevator for less than a minute and you are on an elevator and vaxxed that is putting you in danger, what?

Pam Beasely says it's the same.

Oh c'mon, that's a running joke.  A very, very dark running joke reserved only for the celebrities pushing anti vax and Covid conspiracy B.S. who specifically die of Covid.

Exactly.  All this queefing about the non-vaxxed needs to end.  They've made their decision, they can live with the consequences.  If they wind up dead because of it, it's not my problem.  At this point it's obvious that even if the world was 100% vaccinated this would still be spreading.  They can live their life how they want to.  I know people who were vaccinated and got it.  Not vaccinated and got it.  So far all had mild symptoms or none.  I've been lucky in that regard.

If you're vaccinated and boosted why do you give a F if some randos aren't protecting their odds of survival by getting vaccinated?  That's called natural selection.  I'm for that.

Stop having insurance pay for their care, and I don't give a damn. We need that change.

doesn't surprise me at all that you constantly sqwak at us for being timid little birds afraid of our shadows while you spend the whole weekend knitting sweaters.  i'm 48, if my out of town friends want to paint the streets red, well that's exactly what we're gonna f'ing do.

Airplanes and airports -- fine by me. It's annoying, but confined indoor spaces. However...I'd much rather simply make vaccination a requirement to board a plane.

As for things like concerts -- let venues and performers decide. Same with basketball games. Let them demand proof of vaccination if they want -- I'd be all for it.

Clubbing 😂

This is because you are poor and miserable. If I'm in Vegas, I'm going to hit a club and get a table.

I live downtown, right on the party strip a quick walk away from 3 other party strips.  I go to restaurants every week, I still have friends who can get me into the hot spots.  I'm rarely out past 1am anymore but yes, I go out.  The old ladies in the elevator should fear me, so I wear a mask.

There is difference between a high end club and say trash NJ club where middle aged guys go to hit on young girls, then take elevators with older people and don't mask up, horrible people

Think the point is, a couple hours in a club, unmasked, is definitely "worse" than 90 seconds unmasked in an elevator.

You don't have to take the elevator.  Use the stairs fatties!

Um...then you're doing it wrong.

Or you are getting on some very weird elevator.

That's what I thought

If you use the phrase "paint the town red" you should be banned from anywhere young people congregate. Do you guys "cut a rug" when you're out on the town?

Bottom line, in club or in an elevator just get vaxxed, problem 99.9% solved
