Some people have had COVID two or three or more times already. Not only will we have to learn to live with it, we will likely be infected by several variants of it throughout our lifetimes. It will be cold/flu/COVID season for the rest of our lives. I agree, we need to support our hospitals to prevent them from being overrun.

Should we start swabbing throats for omicron? Some are saying this variant is more prevalent in the throat. So the rapid test may not pick it up from a nasal swab, but from a throat swab instead.
