January 10, 20223 yr I'm going to guess the mRNA vaccines and maybe the J&J have the treated immune systems producing too many specifically engineered white blood cells and not enough generic but adaptable white blood cells.

If Wentz was the QB you just traded a first rounder for, you'd lose the will to live too. That's the reason for the spike, not the cold

Which says nothing about now. The claim by Plankton is that it’s up 40% due to Omicron.

January 10, 20223 yr In 2019, deaths per 100k was 715.2. In 2018 it was 723.6, and in 2017 it was 731.9. Until 2020 it was on a slight downward trend. For 2020, the preliminary number is 828.7 / 100k. And remember the pandemic didn't much affect Q1 2020. Most deaths were Q2 and Q4. So an extra 100 deaths per 100k of population at minimum. Most of these are COVID directly, others might be because COVID was consuming resources that might have otherwise been able to save the life of someone suffering, say, a heart attack.

Bah, with logic and facts you can prove anything. logical or factual

January 10, 20223 yr Just found out my friend’s 1-year old has it. Sounds like her symptoms are pretty mild so far, but she was around all 4 of her elderly, but generally healthy, grandparents this weekend. The mom is also sick but not too severe yet.

That explains a lot.
