Ah, it's Toty.

That slightly off-kilter, sexually repressed potty humor was a dead giveaway.

He opens with a Chinese greeting, he says Irish but looks Scottish, the R Kelly reference in the background, etc. The amount of effort he put into that for such a minimal pay off.

you following bannon is not a surprise. we now all have a realistic view into how your mind works.

thanks for the clarification when none was needed.

Yah - you go stick with Joy Reid, Brian Selter and Rachel Maddow for your news.

Genuis - if you read what I posted, it was simply a report out of China and I said let's hope this isn't true.  Living with your head in the sand is not the right way to go through life.  Better to see what's out there from all sides and discern for yourself what is correct.

I saw some weirdo wearing a surgical mask and safety goggles under a face shield the other day and thought about a lot of you.

I saw some kook on a moped wearing a mask but no helmet and also thought of Moss.

It can pose instructional challenges with very little kids teaching them phonics and basic speech because seeing the teacher mouth the words can help kids understand and repeat words and phrases. Sometimes, an elementary teacher might need to briefly pull their mask down to let students see them mouth the words, but as for the kids in the masks, I don't see how it would be detrimental to their development. For the most part, I've found that kids "get it" better than most adults, and the youngest are often the most mask-conscious of the bunch. It's just that their parents are a bunch of entitled wimps who project their emotional fragility onto their kids.

Several other countries have made the determination that development is indeed negatively affected both in terms of their educational development and also with regard to their behavioral development and that the cost outweighed the benefit generally and mask use in schools is very limited and only used in outbreak scenarios.

They may be wrong or they may be right but one thing is certain and that is that none of them voted for Trump so the old "Trumpbot” condemnation does not apply.

lmao - i am on record stating all msm is a problem, but you go ahead with that.

you on the other hand posted something from a know partisan hack and now you're trying to spin it as, better to see what's out there from all sides, while only ripping on the left.

Doc, the only way kids are doing in person school in many parts of the U.S. is with masks.  You are completely out of your element on this issue (and many others for that matter).  I mean, private schools that require all their students to be vaccinated are wearing masks. Seriously, get a clue.

You have no factual evidence to declare his way is wrong or yours is right.

You Dave shall limit all posts to those discussing events in North Carolina.

Nah, his declarations are laughable.  Let’s remove the public school fiasco from the conversation for a second.  Why do you think independent private schools require students to wear masks?  Think about it.

Yeah, because I read the e-mails from Heads of School and School Superintendents and understand their rationale for requiring masks.  The "well, actually, this country did a study” argument comes off as pretty silly in this scenario.

Because they think the face diaper keeps them safe.

Oh yeah? What is their reason in the school in Winston-Salem? As if some schmo superintendent in NC knows more than say the national education and health ministries in say Denmark.

Guys, there's a reason why even school districts deep in the heart of Trump country are requiring masks now.
