Not sure if that was me either. Berenson is a fruitbat. But, didn't see there where Tucker said F the vaccines. He himself is vaccinated. Very anti-mandate though, which I agree with.

You think Tucker having Berenson on multiple times now is because he doesn't essentially endorse what he's saying? Really?

We got rid of our vacation policy a few years ago. If you want time off, ask. Everyone is expected to be available while on vacation or working from home.

Get your job done. That's all that matters.  Can you take some hours off or whatever, do it.  Just deliver.

I've never worked at a place where you could just go on vacation and not respond to calls/emails/etc. I wouldn't tolerate it among our staff.

You get paid very well. If we need you to work, then work.

If they don't like it, take a lower paying job.

The sign of a non-professional.

Fox routinely has people on they don't agree with and/or endorse. Jesse Watters had on the head of the "anti-work" subreddit the other night that hit 1.6M members. Definitely don't watch Tucker often but when I have I've seen him say get the vaccine or not, it's a personal choice and not one either side should hold against the other essentially. On the flip side, you do realize cable "news" is 99% nonsense meant for ratings, right? If they could say Bigfoot is real and get people to watch a 5 night expose about it, they all would.

Ok, does this fit the bill? Or are these words by someone "just asking questions?"

Over here in the welfare state you don't get paid for your first day being sick.  Why do you think that is?

Did you actually watch the clip? Start at :31

Tucker's a detestable scumbag who's definitely gotten plenty of his own viewers killed.  That's not even debatable.

Ok let's go further...

  • Carlson accused health experts of lying about the safety and efficacy of the COVID-19 vaccines: "If the vaccine was so great, why were all these people lying about it? Honest question. And they were lying, clearly they were lying. You know that for certain, because from the moment the COVID vaccine arrived, the most powerful people in America worked to make certain that no one could criticize it.” [Fox News, Tucker Carlson Tonight2/9/21]

  • Carlson speculated to viewers that the COVID-19 vaccine "doesn't work and they're simply not telling you that.” [Fox News, Tucker Carlson Tonight4/13/21]

  • Carlson speculated that the COVID-19 vaccine dose Pfizer is administering "doesn't work.” [Fox News, Tucker Carlson Tonight4/15/21]

  • Carlson repeated his lie about vaccine deaths, claiming that COVID-19 vaccine data showed "a massive increase in deaths from this vaccine.” The U.S. Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, which Carlson cited to make his claim, does not determine whether a vaccine contributed to an adverse event or illness. [Fox News, Tucker Carlson Tonight6/10/21]

  • Carlson and podcaster Bret Weinstein told viewers the vaccine could actually make the COVID-19 pandemic worse: "The vaccine itself could make the coronavirus into something different and potentially more harmful,” Carlson said. [Fox News, Tucker Carlson Tonight7/9/21]

  • Carlson claimed the COVID-19 vaccine is killing people and the government and media are covering it up. [Fox News, Tucker Carlson Tonight7/21/21]

  • Carlson said the COVID-19 vaccine is a "mixed picture” between benefits and deadly side effects. [Fox News, Tucker Carlson Tonight9/13/21]

  • Carlson asked, "Will any thinking person ever trust vaccines again?” [Fox News, Tucker Carlson Today11/18/21]

    • Carlson told his viewers, "People who get the booster are more likely to get the latest variant.” [Fox News, Tucker Carlson Tonight1/07/22]

Isn't the answer really simple?  No, it doesn't work like they/we originally thought/hoped it would work BUT it sure does work in preventing serious illness and hospitalization.  This is an example of the US dysfunctional division.

He a steaming pile of crap who constantly provides people with misinformation and he should be rung up on charges for the blatant manner in which he does it, and at the very least rot in hell.

You couldn't even admit Bret Weinstein was an anti-vaxxer so not surprising you'd actually try to "both sides" Tucker Carlson's shtick.

I put all of the above under the "they were still telling us the vaccine eliminated transmission" category. By that criteria, it doesn't work.
That was dumb to say.
Yet to be proven right or wrong. Still dumb to say.
  • Carlson claimed the COVID-19 vaccine is killing people and the government and media are covering it up. [Fox News, Tucker Carlson Tonight7/21/21]
I mean, would you be shocked? I wouldn't. Dumb hyperbolic nonsense most likely.
  • Carlson said the COVID-19 vaccine is a "mixed picture” between benefits and deadly side effects. [Fox News, Tucker Carlson Tonight9/13/21]
For a minute few maybe. Dumb thing to say.
  • Carlson asked, "Will any thinking person ever trust vaccines again?” [Fox News, Tucker Carlson Today11/18/21]
Yes, I'll still trust vaccines.
    • Carlson told his viewers, "People who get the booster are more likely to get the latest variant.” [Fox News, Tucker Carlson Tonight1/07/22]
Any studies around this? Most likely a dumb thing to say.

My thoughts above. I know there are a lot of people who think Fox, CNN, etc. are actually news...I'm not one of them.

Actually it is not.  Here in a Nordic centralize health care social welfare company we still go to work if all we have is a bit of a sniffle.  Grow a pair.

We were talking about people wearing a mask to work when they are sick, Slappy. I have no idea what the hell your post is referring to.

Pretty simple really.  Those stuck to their dogmatic rhetoric will not change though.  The country is a big pile of steaming sheet.

In all seriousness, I fully trust your knowledge on this. When did having or not having a Covid vaccine become part of the selection criteria? I’m vaccinated and I find it repugnant.

Not wrong on this one. And I have no problem admitting when I’m wrong. You should try it sometime. You view the unvaccinated as sub-human mongoloids, so why do you care? Yes, I said the symptoms of omicron for the majority are mild cold symptoms…especially among the vaccinated. Go ahead and prove me wrong.

The concept that people should stay home due to a sniffle Ace. That’s what was thrown out there.

Were you wrong when you said Carlson wasn't an anti-vaxer? Yes or no?

I still didn't see him saying people shouldn't get the vaccine, but based on all of those quotes I'd have to say yes.

Those companies suck then and stupid to boot. If they ran the numbers, they'd see how counterproductive it is. Even just providing 10 cent masks and enforcing a policy where the sick must wear them is a small price to pay to avoid the lost productivity of colds/flus running through the workplace unmitigated.

Wow. Alright, fair enough.

Now if we could only work on that mild cold that kills 3k people a day, we might actually get to a point where we can have that beer.

Omicron is mild for the vast vast vast majority of people who contract it.

Look Slappy, you’re Ace. The point was clear. Sneeze or cough and stay home. Take a sick day.

I’ll ask it again. Why does a/the leading welfare market state national health care country based society pay nothing for the first day of a sickness? This after 50* years of experience with this sort of system.
