There was a guy here a little while ago that I was talking to, and he actually prefers the taste of bottled BBQ sauce over real homemade sauce. What a weirdo IMO.

Heinz does make a decent bbq sauce for being store bought. I'd I have to do store bought it's that or sweet baby Ray's. The rest is gross

Bone Sucking Sauce is solid for grocery store sauce. But overall yeah homemade is much better for BBQ.

Asking for a friend.  If you are going thru chemotherapy and radiation treatments, would you get 4th COVID shot.  Is COVID coming to an end or there’s more on the horizon ?

I do not have that brand around here I don't think. I'm not a huge condiments person. I prefer dry rubs on wings and ribs. If I go a different route for wings it's usually just garlic butter with a bit of Frank's mixed in

Yes. The one thing we can all agree on is that the vaccine significantly reduces the chances of severe illness, which is hugely important in an immunocompromised person. The future of COVID is murky. It's seeming more likely that it becomes endemic meaning that it could come back to arrive degree on a regular basis, although that isn't quite a given yet. Omicron is fading which is good, and I expect reduced rates over the coming summer months like we saw last year, but the mutation patterns of COVID are a bit unique compared to flu meaning future variants, their virulence/severity, and seasonality may be a bit more unpredictable or erratic. I certainly hope it's subsiding or continuing to become less severe but it's not something I would risk my health banking on.

There is one bottled sauce i have had, Rufus Teagues, that is not bad. It's hit or miss finding it in the store, but it's actually made with real food. Meaning the first ingredient is not high fructose corn syrup like Baby Ray's or other crap.

Did anyone ever go into surgery and say, "Hey doc! Don’t bother to wear the mask. It doesn’t work, and besides you will perform better without it. It cuts off oxygen so you’ll breathe better without it.”

???

I was actually disappointed when I saw that sweet baby Ray's had high fructose corn syrup. They are always rated pretty high for store bought sauce and one of the few I somewhat enjoy.

I'm more of a Carolina bbq sauce kind of person. The tomato and vinegar based sauce and Heinz actually does a good one.

Good God. We don’t live in a sterile F’ing environment. If you want to, please, lock yourself in a bubble and never come out.

I make about 5 different sauces right now, tailored to the food I like the different flavors on.

I dunno but I do know I don’t care if it’s spelled moors or moops, I don’t live in a bubble. Nor do I have anyone lying on my dining room table with their chest cracked open. This is such a dumb analogy.

But if the mask won't block any germs, what's the point? Right?

Only five? With all the time on your hands you should have a much greater assortment by now.

You people made me hungry!   Chicken thighs were bogo and this is pretty good sauce.  No sugar only 2g carbs.  Your triglycerides will thank you.

Five or so is plenty. What usually happens is I will experiment with something new and if it's good it will replace something.

Recipes please?  PMs welcome.

for store bought I like Stubbs. Original is OK but I prefer the spicy.

Meh, just put a band-aid on it. They’ll be fine.
