Sorry to hear about your FIL. They told him he had 6 months if he doesn't do chemo, and the chemo may gave him an extra year or so. He's also participating a study that may or may not help.

We did immunotherapy from August - December, and it really didn't help at all. So since January he's had no treatments. Hope the chemo works for him!

Sorry dude. My FIL was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer last July and has been on hospice since January. Man's a force of nature. Still up and mobile (just saw him for his birthday 2 weeks ago). They gave him 2-3 months when he went into hospice, and he is still going. Have faith and enjoy the time left.

(Thumbs up is for your FIL being a force of nature)

Too true.

He's not exactly wrong.

Dear Diseases,

STOP ALREADY

Signed,

Everyone

I won't believe it until I can see him jog up a flight of stairs without tripping three times.

Jog? That would be exercise and everyone knows that exercise cuts years off your life.

@EaglesRocker97 testing multiple times a day for a week straight was pretty epic. He wanted to have it so bad.

You really have a hard time remembering that situation correctly.

The irresponsibility of this "president" by his own words and actions is astounding.

Good that you finally watched the Jan 6 hearings.

Hey, thanks anti-vaxxer nuts, first case of polio in a decade in the USA.

A person from Rockland County, New York, has been diagnosed with polio, the first case identified in the United States in nearly a decade.

The unvaccinated young adult began experiencing weakness and paralysis about a month ago, county Health Commissioner Dr. Patricia Schnabel Ruppert said Thursday.

Kudos, F face.

If they manage to get beyond their made for TV re-election drama to a court room I might follow it.

I have recently figured out the hysteria surrounding the Kung Flu.

Some of you watch entirely too much television. I followed some of it news wise but it was obviously pushed in television programming.

My wife's been bing watching this "Chicago MD" show since vacation. The first few seasons were shot pre-covid.

I walked into the living room and one of the first shows shot afterwards was on and holy **** the drama in which they were selling the story.

You people were getting hammered with the whole narrative all day and all night.

Yeah, over a million dead in the US and it's just "some drama".

Sounds more like you walked into your living room and your wife was getting hammered...

...with narrative, of course.

Quit it. You read like you're ignorant.

How many were already dying from a multitude of other illnesses? Just about all if not all of them.

She was. I sat down and watched for a bit and it was so overplayed we were laughing.
