I don't have a video but I watched it live. If you're going to ask what the ramifications of having rallies does for the virus, someone needs to ask how much of an uptick have we seen since the protests to someone like Birx or Fauci. I didn't catch the entire press conference so maybe they did ask and someone can correct me there.

Ok. I saw that post but there are tweets just before it presumably relating to the same incident. Anyway, no worries. I'm just so sick of the partisan bullsheet from both sides.

Nope, but if you ask me if I prefer that or people filling up say the Superdome without masks it's a pretty easy decision.

June 26, 20205 yr Stupid attracts stupid. You put a moron in charge of the country and this is what gets filtered down to us.

Do I wear a mask because I am not a scumbag of a human being and want this to be over? Yes. It's basically a question of whether or not you are a decent human being. This will go down as the most liked comment in the thread.
June 26, 20205 yr (Bloomberg) -- American Airlines Group Inc. said it would sell flights to capacity starting July 1, abandoning caps on passenger loads that were designed to promote social distancing amid the coronavirus pandemic. https://www.msn.com/en-us/travel/news/american-air-to-book-jets-to-capacity-shelve-social-distancing/ar-BB160yrr?li=BBnb7Kz
June 26, 20205 yr Sometimes I think TEW is right and that not everyone should be given the right to vote. But no.

Regardless of if someone thinks this is some mass government conspiracy to infringe on people's rights, it currently doesn't refute the following: A.) This is a highly contagious virus B.) People are getting sick and dying C.) There is currently no vaccine/cure Now let's play the game and deal with the outcomes of two scenarios: 1.) It turns out that this was a government conspiracy where the data was manipulated/falsified just to see if they can control the population and the virus was never as bad as we were led to believe or 2.) It gets really bad and more and more people die. Even if someone out there is insane enough to think we're all being played and this is some deep state "V for Vendetta" scheme, if you're a sensible human-being you would err on the side of #2 happening and be 100% okay if it did indeed turn out to be scenario 1 above knowing that you took precautions and acted like a sensible human being just in case.
June 26, 20205 yr So apparently the Florida order to ban on site alcohol consumption is a complete joke. As long as you serve food you can serve drinks with no restrictions.

June 27, 20205 yr 4 hours ago, JohnSnowsHair said: I think that the fact that the Tulsa rally was a bust and only 6200 or whatever showed up is going to help the COVID-19 numbers. But I reject the notion that condemnation of both sides has to be equal. There are mitigating factors here. The protests, leaving any of the violent individuals aside - they should be condemned under any circumstances - were outside, and most protesters from what I could tell wore masks. Some were also trying to keep as much social distance as possible, which was the case in a great many of the protests that you DIDN'T see on TV. That's simply not the same as a bunch of people who decide to show up in VERY close quarters breathing the same stale air while standing side by side without wearing masks. And if 20k had actually showed up to fill the stadium? The vast majority would NOT be wearing masks. And the few that did would be ridiculed. I'm sorry, but it's just not defensible to state "they deserve equal condemnation". They just don't. The small ones were able to keep the distancing. The large ones failed miserably You can also see there's people without masks or not even wearing them properly
June 27, 20205 yr 4 hours ago, JohnSnowsHair said: I would not be particularly "ok" with that, no. but I can see that, "from a pure scientific standpoint", 30-50k people in an open air football stadium all wearing masks are going to be less likely to communicate COVID-19 than 20k people in a closed stadium who are making an emphatic point about NOT wearing masks because it "infringes muh rights". So what about the 50k people tailgating? Going to not allow that? Because good luck getting people to wear masks while partying it up pregame
June 27, 20205 yr Who’s been saying the spikes are partly due to the protests? It’s purely coincidental that the spikes started shortly after the protests started, and are largely effecting same age group as the protesters.
