September 19, 20232 yr @DiPros, doctors are financially incentivized to pump as many vaccines into you as they possibly can. 0% chance he doesn't recommend any and all of them that you have a question about. Anyway, I wish you the best of luck.

Last year he recommended I do the covid and flu shot separately, so I did. Just read an article that says you can get both at the same time. So, you can see why there are reservations still. I know absolutely nothing about this RSV virus. I just know that I am under no illusion of getting out of here alive. My name is already carved onto the stone. My age shows me to be a senior citizen, but I still think I'm 50 most days. I really don't know where the decades go, and I'd be fine to check out before my 7th or 8th one. RSV is a respiratory virus. In most people it's just a nasty cold but it has a tendency to hit vulnerable populations hard (it lands a lot if newborns in the hospital every year). Hence the push for shots for the elderly and pregnant women. Overall I'd just listen to your doctor. They all have their advantages but I agree with WGB, prioritize the shingles vaccine. That can be horrible. And when in doubt, just do the opposite of what Procus and Kz recommend. You're bound to make the right decision then.

Our daughter had RSV when she was 8 months old and was hospitalized for 3 days struggling to breathe. That was the worst feeling in the world just sitting there hour after hour and day after day watching her chest pump up and down and hoping that she’d be able to take her next breath and fight off the virus since there really isn’t much doctors could do for her. Aside from the typical lingering effects associated with severe respiratory illness like scarring on her lungs, asthma, etc. she recovered fully. She’s now 9 years old and has more energy than most kids her age and loves running, playing field hockey, and doing gymnastics non-stop.

No mention of a covid shot. He was generally happy with my labs. Cholesterol is under 200 (180). Triglycerides still high (255) and he feels that is tied to my blood sugar, which I'll try to work on. I am in the pre diabetes range. Fasting BS is always 120-135. A1C is @ 6.3%.

September 25, 20232 yr 🙈🙉🙊 In the new update on their site, it now says "Hydroxychloroquine may be used to treat coronavirus (COVID-19) in certain hospitalized patients.” Previously the Mayo Clinic claimed Hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine were "malaria drugs authorized for emergency use by the FDA during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the FDA withdrew that authorization when data analysis showed that the drugs are not effective for treating COVID-19.”

September 25, 20232 yr Believe it's still out there 'cause I got it. Again. Not sure what the protocol is now. I've not been feeling great for well over a week, and no positive test so thought it's cold or allergy related. Felt a bit worse yesterday so tested again and positive within minutes of squirting that 'ish in the hole. Threw that thing right in the trash. Low fever I think at nighttime but nothing during the day except coughing. Thermometer busted; my son is picking one up for me today.

September 26, 20232 yr Nobody ever said there was no potential downside, only that the potential downside of a covid infection without immuntiy is orders of magnitude worse. Also, Offit still says to get vaccinated for anyone who hasn't had 3 doses yet or no recent prior infection, inluding young children under 5, but I'm sure that's the sort of advice the morons will conveniently gloss over because they're only listening to cherry-picked clips from other incels on twitter. Here's the full interview for reference.
