I had no idea you were serviced by toast. I hope you're at least vaccinated.

On January 1, 2024, two hundred thirty-one current and former service members from various branches of the United States Armed Forces came together to sign the "Declaration of Military Accountability.”

This document, spearheaded by Commander Robert A. Green Jr. of the U.S. Navy, marks a significant moment in military history, calling for sweeping reforms and accountability within the Armed Forces.

My man's starting off 2024 with a bang by digging up Green Day tweets from two and a half years ago so he can call them corporate sell outs. Not sure how they'll ever recover from that sick burn.

Has everyone checked to see if they received a jab from a hot batch yet?

Did you get those big fluffy clown shoes yet?

It is very odd, but masks are still used to prevent the spread of infection, all over the world, by the best medical minds.

It is almost as if all that "did my own research" was nothing but horse pucks.

Maybe if we rebrand them as "mouth walls".

...and yet, thought they do a good job for individuals they just don't seem to work for reducing societal spread of infection thru the use of general masking requirement policies as all the studies indicate

it just isn't particularly challenging intellectually to reconcile those two points, they work together just fine

That's a crock. Either they work, or they don't.

That society fails to use them properly, fails to follow basic quarantine protocols, and fails to understand the limitations, has zero to do with whether or not masks work to reduce the spread of infection.

What doesn't work is the "mandate policy" which doesn't create the results that are intended.  Not in the US and not anywhere else on a broad scale, i.e. it has nothing to do with the foaming at the mouth retarded Trumpsters though of course their behavior isn't going to help.

Which has nothing to do with the effectiveness of masks regarding the spread of infection.

Yep, we can agree on that.  My position has always been in regard to mandates generally.  The other part is the type of masks but we can leave that topic out of this discussion.

btw - You always seem to be an early bird.  What time do you normally get up?  You always seem to be the first person in here during my day.

I wake at 5am and try to stay in bed until 6, but I'm usually up and having coffee by then.

I used to be able to sleep in. Now I only set an alarm if I have to get up before 5

Waking with the sun, if schedule allows, is the best IMO.
