It's a mass general associated hospital.  All the nurses there, and the entire MGH system are vaccinated. So the fact that it's happening on ONE unit in ONE hospital would give anyone with 2 braincells to rub together pause when trying to blame the vaccine. Unfortunately it appears that It Hurts' mother drank heavily and dropped him often so here we are.

4th time around for me now. Been about four days. No major issues and much like the last time around. Just a bit tired, bit of a cough, low fever (max 100), headache... Wife a couple days ahead of me.

Going to get it once a year I suppose.

Good luck buddy. A colleague of mine who lives in Antwerp just got over it. Was laid up for 3 weeks and had to go to the hospital. Some of the strains over there are getting bad again.

So far, my wife has not got it at all, and I have only gotten it one time. It was pretty mild for me. The biggest problem for me was quarantining for a week.

The vaccine is 95% effective in preventing hospitalization in people under 65. The remaining 5% are presumably immunocompromised. So either his friend is much older, is in the latter category, or he's just lying and hadn't received a booster in over 6 months, more likely a year. I have my theory.
