Starting this past Jan, that became a deciding factor as well.

Hilton’s will have them in the rooms, along with other accessories and weights, and a kiosk full of workouts.  Other hotels will follow but Hilton is ahead of the game.

Seriously?  My only gauge is turning out the lights and bustin out the mini black light to make sure things are kosher.

Do black lights detect covid?

Much worse things trust me......

We are getting close to no cash here where I live. The first half of that rant is 100% incorrect. All of those things exist and happen but in digital form. Even the beggars are happy with a quick digital xfer though happily that is a bit more difficult. The second half is something to consider though. Every transaction does of course involve a bank.

Yes yes, the doctors and the CDC...they spent their whole careers doing medical crap to help people and to be taken seriously as professionals. But now they're suddenly taking this opportunity to become liars and political lackeys to tank the economy and sink our genius president. Man, what does a famous white "billionaire" born into wealth have to do to catch a fair shake in this country?

When your entire identity is wrapped up in your political dogmatism, and that dogma is challenged by every bit of factual evidence and rejected by society, you have two choices: you either take the difficult road of examining if you might, indeed, have been wrong and in the process utterly shatter your own identity, or you double-down and see conspiracy in everything as the only way to maintain your identity.

Clearly Chuck is choosing the latter.

(and this doesn't really even need to be said, but....)   Like almost every other country in the world has managed to do.

I know it's fashionable to beat up on the US response, but other countries are having similar issues: https://www.marketwatch.com/story/in-reversal-uk-to-require-face-masks-in-stores-2020-07-13

This is a human race in a free society problem. Not something uniquely American.

Mostly the response like the US and UK seems limited to countries with complete morons in the driver's seat.

Idiocy is widespread

Yeah. But then I have to stay at a Hilton. Pass...

Vikas wouldn't be caught dead in a Hilton wearing a $90 polo.

I hope when we all grow up, we can make grown-up decisions for ourselves. Obviously, everybody here relies 100% on what the elected officials say.

Vote for the game show host with dementia, because the president of the united states isn't really an important position that has much of an effect on anything!

This has been my favorite defense of Trump's idiocy yet. Well done!

I think kids going to school makes sense. It's the faculty that are worried for themselves.

Good one. Got them.

These idiots promised to pay for 100 free meals for people who show up without a mask

That state needs to fall off the face of this earth.

This is actually not uncommon out there.. the prairie dogs apparently carry it, which I found out when I posted a pic of one on facebook when I first moved out there saying "Look how cute, I want to pet it" and someone responded "yeah don't do that, they carry plague".

Wouldn't that include schools?

Yea I didn't realize they had plague since the 80s and maybe earlier

One would think that would make sense. But alas, they MUST open.
