This is right in line with many of the bs COVID headline's I've read........it's just a damn shame that most Americans believe any and everything that's written/spoken on mainstream media about the matter.

Luckily, any Americans that believe headlines like that have already died from injecting bleach or overdosing on Hydroxychloroquine.

True story: 4 Dad's signed up to get Covid testing before a weekend fishing trip.  Got to testing center, super long line, decided to skip test and went fishing.  After the trip, all 4 received notice that they tested positive.

Another one: 90 people in Tennessee received false positive for Covid.

My favorite part of the story is how 4 guys decided it was a good idea to get tested before a trip so they don't potentially kill each other and determined the wait was too long. So then they decided to go sit in a boat holding fishing poles for an entire weekend.

You're pronouncing it wrong.  It's 'ploz-meh'

The experts don't know wtf they're talking about.

I made a bet with myself that when Alex Azar came up to the podium immediately afterwards, he would say it the same way the President did.

I was genuinly surprised when he didn't.

Stop with the conspiracy crap over false positives.  The saga of the test development almost assured that any first generation tests would have a higher than ideal type 1 error rate.  This is preferred in "imperfect" tests as subsequent validation will identify any false positive result.   This is similar to the first HIV tests which always had to confirm positive results with follow up blot testing to confirm positive results.

What could possibly go wrong??

This is what I don’t get. Any questions about the efficacy of any of it are immediately labeled conspiracies to discredit all of it. That’s not science, that’s religion. You all are the cult.

There's ample data to support that there are massive amounts of false negatives coming from low quality tests but you don't see anyone else screaming about a conspiracy to keep the number of confirmed cases down. Like, literally, nobody has talked about it because it's stupid.

Psychopath conspiracy theorists are going to psychopath conspiracy theorize. Own it. It's who you are.
