Have you considered going to a death cult Trump rally without one to test the theory out for yourself?

I would also look at death and hospitalizations in relation to cases, and the percentage of people who wear masks in public in relation to cases, hospitalizations, and deaths, because masks apparently reduce the payload, leading to milder symptoms.  If masks reduce payload and allow things to be open, and people are willing to accept that cases go up with re-opening (that was what people said back in April), then I think masks are effective.

First, the "dumb" stuff isn't really necessary, bud.

Second, I don't think there's anything wrong with looking at data and questioning the efficacy of certain mandates. This is a dynamic situation that's constantly changing. We don't yet have all the answers. Some areas that have mandated masks have seen recent explosions. Other areas that haven't implemented them are still seeing a flattened curve.

Third, believe it or not, there are actually scientists who still believe what prominent scientists like Fauci believed back in March, that masks are ineffective because they give people a false sense of security and cause them to be less likely to maintain social distancing and other measures. Many countries have resisted mask mandates at the direction of their scientists for that very reason.

I know you've read the latest article and now believe you're some sort of pandemic expert, but there are people smarter than you and I that say masks aren't necessary.

Ok.  You’ve lost it, you really have.  Masks have been proven to reduce the risk of transmitting the virus.  This is a fact.

So you guys actually think infectious disease experts in other countries who don't recommend mask use are dumb? That's something else.

Considering the evidence available and the disproportionate number of ID experts public health officials and epidemiologists who disagree with them, yes I think they're wrong.

It's the hydroxychloroquine and vaccines/autism argument all over again. Finding a handful of "experts" that support a point does not discount the literal mountain of evidence that suggest the opposite, nor are people like Dr Demon-Semen's opinion on equal footing as someone like Fauci.

I didn't ask if you thought they were wrong. I was wondering if you thought they were dumb. Also, I wasn't referring to fringe "scientists," I'm talking about the leading experts in many of the nations that haven't mandated masks.

Well by that logic, no country should be working on a vaccine nor should they distribute one.  I mean, all a vaccine is going to do is give people a false sense of security and cause them to be less likely to maintain social distancing and other measures.  Right?

The vast majority of "leading experts" believe masks are helpful in limiting spread and have suggested their use.  If there are officials in certain countries with very low population densities and limited spread where officials have decided against mask mandates I would disagree with them, but wouldn't necessarily call them dumb.

You on the other hand, guy who fervently posts every out of context pseudoscience headline Benny and Tucker tweets out despite clearly having no clue what he's talking about scientifically...you I have zero problem calling dumb.  You are a dumb guy.

France and Germany are going back into lockdown with schools and designated companies the only exceptions.  Spain is next.

Are they doing school in person still? Or mostly remote? You may not know but worth a shot.

Oh that’s funny because I’ve actually been a pretty big supporter of masks. I just find the mask worship kind of funny at this point given data like I posted. No need to act like a smug dewshbag about it. Lmao

When I suggested here that we might have to do the same, I got flayed.
