We just closed on a house, and having a bedroom converted to a gym. Peloton, elliptical and a rowing machine. But I only use the Peloton. Yeah I’m no gluten no dairy too but mostly because it makes me feel better with my autoimmune disease. Congrats and best wishes in the new house!

Cane's sauce is really good, the chicken alone is alright. I like zaxby's chicken better but cane's sauce reigns supreme. No slaw double toast
November 20, 20204 yr Only fast food I’ll get anymore is Five Guys, and even then I haven’t had it in months. Trying to shed the lockdown weight. The toughest thing is the free food at work (casino), so I have to be smart there. Also it’s amazing how quick you can drop weight when you stop drinking.

There’s chicken strip restaurant in Tuscaloosa, Alabama called Guthrie’s. Been there forever, used to eat it in college all the time. Two different guys that worked there left and each started their own chicken strip restaurant. One is Zaxby’s, the other is Canes.

It's been a long road already and it's way too early to say much of anything. But we're excited/terrified. But based on how crappy this current team is we probably have to go with a throwback for the jersey. Freddie Mitchell maybe?

Well you don’t need a jersey right away.. you can never go wrong with retro! https://www.etsy.com/listing/750566850/retro-philadelphia-eagles-baby-onesie If you’re going for ironic throwbacks you’d be better off with Reno Mahe than 4th and 26
November 20, 20204 yr So, I developed a low grade fever tonight. Started having chills around 8, but no fever. Attributed it to a particularly stressful day at work. Now I'm at 100.3°F. still don't feel terrible, chills aside. Told the wife to sleep in the guest room, though I don't know if it's too late or what. Could be anything really. Common cold, flu, but obviously I'm concerned about COVID. Sense of taste and smell seems normal. Had some tikka masala for dinner, didn't notice any particular loss of smell or taste them either. Only extended time outside the house the last 5 days was to go to the grocery store Sunday. Last Thurs I took my son to karate and worked out, that's probably the most dangerous thing I've done but the gym wasn't very crowded (I don't work out if there's too many people). I didn't do cardio either, just some light lifting. Ugh.

November 20, 20204 yr LOL no problem, though to be fair my wife is the big indian eater. I like it, bit she LOVES it. The lamb tikka masala is her jam. I usually do lamb vindaloo but didn't feel like punishing myself tonight - our indian joint makes it especially spicy compared to others I've had. I should tell them to make it caucasian hot, not indian hot. I'm hoping it's just psychosomatic from stress. I don't normally get that stressed with work stuff but damn today was one of the worst days ever. Nothing particularly bad happening, just have a lot riding on my shoulders lately.

I’ll eat a doritos taco supreme (no sour cream) for bfast in a pinch and not regret it. But my stomach is like a garbage disposal so... and 1 little b&c burrito (no onions) can hold you over for like 3 hrs

Take a couple edibles and hit the sack. And you want spicy, use the name Vikas for your delivery. They bring the heat for fellow brown people.

Chills should count as a symptom if that's a prerequisite for testing sites near you. I'd reach out to them tomorrow early AM, a lot of them only offer testing hours on the weekdays. Your doctor's office should know some of the local sites but if you Google "COVID testing+ you state" a list of local resources should pop right up and tell you if you need a prescription or not. Stay safe man. Feel free to reach out if you need some help.
November 20, 20204 yr Yeah I'm gonna call my doctor in the morning. My son was sent home last week with a headache, and to send him back to school he had to get a test, so I know exactly where I can go for a quick test.

Just order it regular or they are charging you for the sour cream you are then asking them to hold

I didn't do cardio either, just some light lifting. Ugh. I was sick for a good chunk of October. Started out with chills and a low grade fever. By the next day, I was running a temperature of almost 104 F and the fever didn't break for four f'ing days. I basically was laid up in bed and the only time I got up was to barf and sheet.... sometimes at the same time. Worst flu I've ever had. On the 2nd day of my high fever I got a Covid test which turned out negative. After the fever broke and the flu symptoms started to subside, I had a super sore throat and developed a cough. It worsened over the next 2 or 3 days along with some pretty nasty chest congestion to the point where I went to the hospital. Another Covid test, another negative. I did, however, have a pretty nasty case of pneumonia. They put me on antibiotics and gave me a puffer which I'm actually still using once a day. Not a fun month. I think I worked 8 days or some ish like that.

November 20, 20204 yr Fever up to 101 Having some trouble settling down to sleep. It's weird that I still don't feel particularly sick, but I'm thinking that comes tomorrow. Ef. Ef ef ef.

As a Canadian I can honestly say Tim Hortons is terrible. They have the gall to use the slogan "Always Fresh” ..... it’s never fresh; it’s distributed by truck, frozen, all over the country. 30 years ago it was actually pretty good. Crown Royal is another very overrated Canadian brand. It tastes like engine fluid mixed with sugar. Gibson’s Finest is much better whisky

Tim Horton's has gone way downhill in the last 10 years or so, around when they merged with Burger King. The coffee and lunch food options are trash. The doughnuts are a small upgrade over Dunkin Donuts. Variety on the menu seems smaller than it should be, even for their core items like doughnuts. Tim Horton's is effectively the McDonald's of Canada. A real Canadian goes to Second Cup for coffee.

Was hoping with the fever gone that it was stress related, but if fever can come and go now I'm less sure.
