Two scumbags who show that right and left don't matter - suck comes in every flavor.

So the UK has its road map out of this.

Flags ordered at half staff through Friday as we passed 500K deaths today.  Sad day. Let’s hope not too many more.

Kids can get infected and transmit it to adults. The reason this doesn't happen as often is thought to be for a few reasons:

A ) They are less symptomatic on average, and thus potentially aren't as infectious or for as long of a period of time.

B) They don't shed nearly as many viral particles when speaking compared to an adult, and when they do, they're less likely to be inhaled by another adult due to the height at which their droplets were expelled at. Droplet travel distance is far less too.

C) They are the most compliant group when it comes to mask wearing outside of the medical profession.

As for the comments that adults aren't as likely to spread it to kids, I'm not sure where Sleepy Joe is getting that from. I don't think there's nearly as much evidence to support that claim.

This is why I only hang out with people shorter than me.

Which works well until you're sitting on the couch watching the game and your 3 yr old sneezes right into the side of your face as she cruises by.

Upscale Boca Royale community in Sarasota County, where some homes valued at more than $1 million, being developed by Pat Neal got special access to vaccine. Neal donated to DeSantis's political committee and served on his transition team

See these are the kinds of disgusting hit jobs that cause people to completely lose faith in the media. Reading that article and seeing the conclusion that they come up with is this meme come to life:

image.png.0387808d4340f7b4a65be59e73978eb2.png

In the articles opening paragraph and title, they insinuate there's something nefarious in the email or that they are evidence that the communities jumped the line. Spoiler, there's not.

Buried in the story is this nugget, which seems to be pretty important:

Quote

"Nine of the state's 15 (clinics) for senior living communities have been established in Broward and Palm Beach, which are not known for being Republican strongholds," Beatrice wrote.

Also buried is this nugget, about how the county in question is lagging behind the state median in vaccinations:

Quote

"Pat Neal was called for help in getting 3,000 people vaccinated in Charlotte County because the vaccination rate in the county among the 65+ group was behind the state median," Neal Communities said in a statement. "Ivory Matthews of Neal Communities mobilized helping to set up a vaccination site in Charlotte County within five days.  Kings Gate provided a logistically safe and central location to stage vaccinations for 3,000 people 65+.

But this is the media we have now. We know they can fool gullible sheep like toaster who will see the negative headline about a prominent republican, and literally wet themselves with joy before even reading the article.

Expect a multitude of negative DeSantis headlines and fake controversies like this one to trickle in. They're going on the offensive against any Republican that has a shot in 2024.

Yes, the article highlights several pop-up vaccination sites including one in Sarasota and one in Charlotte as problematic because they have a wealthy, white population and a connection to a donor of Desantis's. Does not change the fact that it's a weak hit job with no real evidence of wrong-doing.

I didn't get to read all of it, they wanting me subscribe before I could finish.   It did appear that what I did get to read DID not fit with the headline.  You wouldn't be able to sway my opinion of that Gov down there though.  At least not from this article, but nice work!  Most people that live there are over 65 or have a condition anyway so who was really jumping ahead or gaining an advantage?  It's a dumb headline, for sure.

I'm old enough to remember someone living in the fantasy land where Trump was gonna win the election, then when he lost the SCOTUS was gonna overturn the results, then when that didn't happen the focus shifted to the pandemic is never gonna end, Christmas is cancelled forever, the government is gonna use this to make us all slaves, etc.

Bolded is almost correct, it's the 1 percenters who own the governments that will be our slave masters.

Also Joe Biden made it snow in Texas. But it's not real snow because it doesn't melt with lighter.

Just got back from Florida.  The way people have been talking I was expecting everyone to not only not be wearing masks, but open mouth sneezing into peoples faces.  Everyone that we saw was compliant.  Granted, we were in downtown Tampa and St. Petersburgh and not the everglades, so its probably different elsewhere, but for our trip we ended up feeling particularly safe.

Now we wait to see if I caught anything from the flight\trip <_<
