It would have taken like 30 seconds to google a disease associated with chromosome 8. But instead he went confidently with the disease very commonly known as trisomy 21.

I'm more annoyed with the lazy writing than the plot holes.
February 25, 20214 yr I don't want to go back to being negative but really, I don't see how this ends this year, or even next. There is no way the entire world can be vaccinated anytime soon, if ever. https://www.mediaite.com/news/just-in-moderna-announces-it-will-test-booster-shot-to-target-south-african-covid-variant/ "But there’s a broader point here, which is as long as we’re seeing large outbreaks happening in other parts of the world we’re going to constantly be chasing our tail,” Jha explained. "We’re going to have to be coming up with boosters all the time. So the best way to put this pandemic behind us is to have a global strategy that gets everybody vaccinated so we can move on from this horrible pandemic.”

Honestly, I try to interact with him on here and do it in a respectful manner (not saying I won't crack jokes, but I don't call him names) for two reasons 1) If these folks are constantly mocked for their beliefs, they will just dig their heels in even more which makes it impossible to try to help them see the other side. The only chance to help them out of their conspiracy mindset is to have a civil dialogue so you can present your counterpoint. 2) It's entertaining AF.

Yes, but you are progressing toward an appreciation of Windows ME, which is a very, very concerning side effect.

The entire population of PA is around 13 million. February 25, 20214 yr Hey, we made it back to where we were when it hit the worst last summer!! YAY!! Thanks for social distancing and mask wearing so poorly, the US is sucking like Kz! 113 million cases worldwide - the US has 28+ million or over a quarter of all cases. 2.5 million deaths worldwide - the US has 500+ thousand, or a fifth of all deaths. We could be open now. But no, idiots will drag this out to 2022

You land, and the military drives you to a hotel where you quarantine for 14 days (at least that was the rule 6 months ago). It used to be free, but then they started charging $3,000 for the process - a good way to make you think twice about whether your travel is worth it. I'll tell you what though, Sydney is a major city and they're hanging out in bars and attending in-person college classes.
February 25, 20214 yr 15 minutes ago, NOTW said: "Designated government facilities." There are videos already floating around out there of Canadian citizens refusing the test/quarantine upon arrival and the authorities can't do a damn thing about it. They walk out of the airport free and clear. Say what you will about masks/restrictions/lockdowns, but this is massive government over-reach and shouldn't be tolerated.
February 25, 20214 yr This guy is just getting worse by the day. Cannot stand him. Fox is getting harder and harder to watch. This clown will be out of job soon if he doesn't STFU with his nonsense. February 25, 20214 yr My daughter's school has been running 4 days in school, 1 day virtual since the year started. They took an extended break around the holidays. Every one of the teachers in her school that I've talked to WANTS the learning to be in person. I think the circumstances and opinions vary drastically depending on the area you live in.

Close friend of mine is a middle school teacher. Because of parents complaining they offered people a choice of remote or in-person learning. She has a grand total of 3 kids who now come in-in person. 🤷♂️ Doesn't really affect her since she was teaching from the classroom either way and it's pretty easy to keep 3 kids distanced. But yeah it seems as if the attitude varies pretty widely. Around me the public schools are prioritizing the kids with IEPs which I think is smart. Hybrid 2-on-2-off for most of the kids with a staggered schedule (with an option for full remote) but the kids with extra learning needs are in full time. Not ideal but better than nothing I guess.
