What's not so PC about that? Based on the context of the thread, corona is short for coronavirus, a virus that causes disease. COVID-19 is the specific disease. Basically it means you won't end up in a hospital, but could still come down with symptoms and possibly feel like crap, just not bad enough to seek treatment for it.

My brother, SiL and nephew all got covid this past week. Their symptoms were just mild cold like symptoms and my brother lost his taste and smell for a couple days. All are fine. If it can take the people who might experience the symptoms worse down to that...perfect.

I was just saying that if the J&J vaccine can reduce people who may experience severe symptoms down to something my family members experience it's a win. I wasn't downplaying the virus.

I don't see anything wrong with this. My wife doesn't want to take the J&J vaccine unless it's the only one available because of their connection to poisoned baby products, so this is kind of in that same vein.

As I previously posted my daughter is very apprehensive of vaccines. Only did a flu shot last year so she could be here with her dad. (Pre covid) Now, educators will most likely get the J&J in PA. She was sent a survey today that’s due Friday. Data to be submitted Monday afternoon. Data working in tandem with staff and contractors for individuals already in phase 1a registered via other means. It mentions a site opening in her districts county (Montgomery) as soon as next week. Just for staff/contractors and our dear gov says all educators should be vaccinated by the end of March. Will see how this goes. I’m always going to be a mother first. In addition to using harvested fetuses for the development of it, I think the J&J vaccine has a 66% effectiveness, which I believe is less than Pfizer and Moderna.
March 4, 20215 yr I'm gonna try standing by at the vaccine site down the street from my parents tomorrow to see if I can get a shot instead of through my district. 95% vs. 66%...yeah, no brainer. F J&J.
