You're not going to catch COVID on an outdoor walking path.  You're in the vicinity of another walker for about, what, 3 seconds as you pass?  As long as they're not sneezing on you, I guaran-F'ing-tee you that your risk of tripping over the next curb and killing yourself by hitting your head than catching COVID while walking in opposite directions past one another.

You're more likely to catch COVID from someone you know (work, friend, family) than a stranger.  Outdoor mask use is dumb.  It helps "some"???? No, it helps a whole hell of a lot.

You all don't make any sense.

We'll all look back at the history books and see that of all the events and issues of 2020-2021, IFB DOG chose to use his voice and make his stand against outdoor mask use.

I appreciate what you're trying to do, but you have to understand that the CoronaBros in here have lapped up everything Fauci and CNN have told them since the beginning - nothing is going to change their mind now.  And despite the fact that everyone in CVON suddenly became an expert in physical fitness over the weeked (LOL), most of them of terrified because they're in the target group of those most affected (old or fat).  Toaster is both old AND fat.  You might have better luck convincing EagleVA that the Earth is round.

You sound like someone who has never been on a college campus.  The only way to guarantee people are wearing masks is to have them wear them all the time.  Yes, it’s overkill - but that’s kind of the point.

You girls are so cute together.

Or, maybe its easier to go to the gym where there is a TON more equipment than one could fit in their own home gym?  And trainers?  And it's out of sight of the three-year-old who wants to know why Daddy's home but doesn't want to spend time with him??

Binky, let me ask you something since you think you're so damn smart.  How many people under 50, with a BMI under 25, end up on a ventilator?

I'll wait.

I can't give you an exact number.  What I can tell you is that my sister, who was working the COVID unit from the start, has had to hold her phone up to let people facetime with families to say goodbye - this includes old and young people.  A few fathers and some with young children, and I know of at least 2 or 3 she's mentioned that looked in shape.  One guy was a daily runner and under 40.  She's received numerous letters from families all over the country for being with their loved one when they died because no one else could be.  She won an award on her unit for her compassion.  And she's been privately suffering a lot of mental anguish because of it.  But please - keep whining about wearing a mask and not being able to work out at home because your 3 year old loves you too much.

Our county has had the exact same number of fraternity-alcohol related deaths as COVID deaths in people 29 and under.

i specifically said a crowded space & you're going on about outdoor walking paths that aren't crowded. of course that would be a lot safer.   i think you just want to complain.

college campuses are not all the same. many are very crowded outdoors when students are walking to/from class....and then lining up at building entrances. maybe the clown college you attend isn't very crowded but some are.  btw...be careful in that little car you all love to pile into.

masks help when you're in a crowded area...both indoors & outdoors. i get that it's uncomfortable to wear one but the goal is to stop the damn virus so we can get back some sort of normalcy w/o worrying about hospitals filling up with grandparents on ventilators. younger people who are in shape are less likely to have serious symptoms but they can spread it to others.

Haha, IFB Dog is a bad person because he doesn't want outdoor mask mandates. What a scumbag. He either doesn't care about other people or actively takes pleasure in watching people die! I'm a better person than him because I want the government recommended level of restrictions to remain in place.

I mean I don't think you need to wear a mask outdoors in isolated places.. but you definitely need to in crowded areas.  It's not exactly black and white.  And that isn't the only points he's making.  He's being very flippant about who is at risk and who is dying from this.  I mean, over half a mill have died from this virus in the US.  WAY more than the flu ever has.. so it's clearly a dangerous virus and I don't understand the resistance to being even overly cautious.

I started this conversation talking about outdoor mask use. Now you're talking about indoor stuff and crowded spaces.

I attended Ohio State and I'm finishing my Master's at UToledo. yeah, clown colleges.

Yeah, how dare I wish to continue learning how to move right and use equipment properly so that injuries don't occur. And talk to a specialist about different exercises.

Like I said, be responsible for your personal risk.  Don't force others to fall in line because your fat arse as an obesity blue sticker on your license plate.

What I find humorous is town or city police trying to enforce Covid gathering limits (mandated by the state or local govt) at off-campus college parties.  Pretty much impossible, but they’re trying.  Lol

They are/were doing that at the University of Delaware.  I know the swim team coach, and he had swimmers lose their athletic scholarships, and/or get suspended from school, for gathering in a house with 12 people inside.

Do you know the median life span in a nursing home?

https://www.geripal.org/2010/08/length-of-stay-in-nursing-homes-at-end.html

https://www.ucsf.edu/news/2010/08/98172/social-support-key-nursing-home-length-stay-death#:~:text=The average age of participants, study died within six months.

"53% of nursing home residents in the study died within six months."

No crap these people died. We put them in crummy nursing homes owned by multi-million dollar revenue companies hiring under educated and under compensated STNAs.   And then are SHOCKED - DEVASTATED when they die.

The average age of death has gone UP. EVERY. SINGLE. MONTH. in Ohio.

This thing is not deadly to young people. Our average age of death is now 83+.   The average lifespan in the U.S. is 78.5 years lol.

Wear your PPE with grandma and grandpa.  But don't act like we need to teach children to be afraid of their friends.

Maybe you missed the part where I said that I recently learned my blood cells are literally fat.  Triglycerides of 1105.  F'ing eye-opening.

So what did I do? Immediately start cutting out sugars and as much fat as possible.  Joined a gym.  Took my boss up on that offer to get a new desk with the ability to raise it to a standing position.   Took personal responsibility.

I don't understand why we are pumping money towards all of these projects that don't help the root cause of the severe cases: obesity.  Put in more parks. Put in more playgrounds.  Put money into healthy lunches for kids.  Help communities encounter better, healthier food options for stores and shelves within existing groceries.

We don't need 250 million vaccinations. Because COVID isn't the only thing killing fat kids.  Forest for the trees, and all.

Personally, I only trust nursing home records and data that comes from the Cuomo administration.

Yeah, I just don't like the framing of the argument that if you disagree with government mandates, you don't care about the people who have died or you are somehow OK with young fathers dying in isolation in the hospital. It's just a BS way of debating the topic, IMO, and one libs like Paul repeatedly go to.
