Slippery slope.  I'm certainly not opposed to the vaccine and will get it when my phase comes up in PA which the way Wolf is managing this may be sometime in 2029, but implementing that kind of system for travel will be a massive pain.  Is there going to be a standard Covid vaccine ID?  crap, the fed pushed back the mandate for state IDs to become compliant with TSA continuously for about 10 years because states couldn't/wouldn't do it.  It would be a flipping disaster and may be a HIPPA violation.  My wife works in the travel industry.  It's already FUBAR'd enough.  They don't need to be dealing with that right now either.

If you're vaccinated then you should feel safe.  Otherwise what was the point.  Let natural selection take care of the rest.

There is a risk in everything including falling off a peloton. Taking the vaccine incurs one risk and not taking it another. Weigh those and make your decision.

It would be a pain to enforce, but I believe people who are vaccinated get some kind of evidence of the fact. Kids need to be vaccinated for school, so likely something similar. 

If one airline checked for vaccination and one didn't -- I'll fly the 1st one. Truth is I don't really care about getting COVID once I am vaccinated, but I have to think unvaccinated morons will be annoying AF on a flight -- crying babies, fighting with flight attendants, etc.  It's like an intelligence screening.

That's moreso for school health records I think and not for public disclosure like having an ID.  Most public schools the anti-vax morons just sign some kind of waiver as to why their kids aren't vaccinated.  Once I get my vaccine, since I'll likely be last in line, I don't really care what the rest have done.  I'll hop in the steel tube petri dish and hurdle through the ski at 500mph with confidence.  If some **** decided not to get vaccinated and dies from getting covid on that flight so be it.

I have friends who love them.  I despise them.  They convinced my wife to go a few years ago and I reluctantly agreed because happy wife happy life yada yada.  Thought divorce was imminent about 10 minutes after boarding.  A tiny cabin with 2 adults and 2 kids.  They try to up charge you on everything.  You don't get to spend nearly enough time on an island to enjoy it.  It's hurry up go do an activity and get back to the boat.

I really need to go on an Adult's only all-inclusive trip with the wife when this craps all over.  We go on one every year as a break from life.  We usually go to Secrets resorts since the wife can snag some awesome deals with EE perks and stuff at cost.  That's my jam.  Park my ass at the pool bar or beach and drink and eat the day away with no kids to bother us.

They probably wouldn't appeal to you. I sound like I am joking when I say this but I'm not. The appeal for cruises is for middle class people to feel like they're rich for a week. I have been on 4 of them. People wait on you hand and foot and cater to your every need. You eat the finest food that you wouldn't normally eat while going to all of these exotic places. People who already live that kind of lifestyle wouldn't see anything great about it. My wife and I wanted to go to Europe before we had kids because neither of us had ever been. We took a 2 week cruise all around Europe and went to 7 countries. It was probably the best time I ever had in my life. Later when my daughter was 2, we took an Alaskan cruise and it was almost as good. However, for someone who can fly to Europe whenever they want or even charter a private jet, and eat at and stay at the finest places, it probably wouldn't be very impressive.

Yeah good luck with that.  Private school could do that.  Not a public one, unless they want to dedicate a good chunk of their budget to legal fees.  Big difference in public and private.

It's perfectly legal, and would be deemed so now more than ever. It's no less illegal than pubic schools requiring masks to be worn like they were this year. Would all schools do it? Obviously not (for reference see South, The). But for the states and districts who now choose to require it without exception (non-medical at least), I don't see much of a concern in a legal sense.

2. That's what I will never get -- if I want to go to the Caribbean, I'll just fly there and stay at the Four Seasons. Why do I need to spend 7 days getting there on a floating city with people I don't want anything to do with?
