I have faith the pandemic will end.....probably because it will kill everyone that is vulnerable but it will end

Not everyone that is vulnerable, just dummies that don't get vaccinated.  Sometimes you just have to let natural selection win.

Since I started watching more late night tv I am starting to be more concerned about an enlarged prostrate that could become cancer. It’s always something to worry about

After that, would you need a prostate?

She is

Who the hell is she? New Star Trek movie/TV? I'd sell both kids to crawl up that dress for a night.

She was in one of the Star trek movies, a season of entourage and various other things

You also noted about him not making a public appearance, specifically on Fox, asking people to get it.  The article I posted says that he does just that.  I also checked and it looks like he did ask his supporters, during a rally while he was still president, to get the vaccine.  Don’t blame the messenger for pointing out he has urged people to get the vaccine.

There is a difference between making a half-hearted statement in an interview and him making a  public service message to his supporters.

I am guessing you know this, but still want to lick his butt hole, for some personal reason.

There is a reason I am saying him making such an announcement would save lives. His supporters don't trust the vaccine. Many still think the virus is a hoax. Thanks to Trump. He was crystal clear for almost a year on that subject. Making an off hand comment in an interview is not the same thing.

Trump has done many things wrong with handling Covid, but one thing he’s done is been supportive of the vaccine (probably because he likely thinks he should take credit for their being vaccines).  Again, blaming me for you being wrong on this seems odd, but okay.  Go ahead and act like I’m a Trump supporter because I pointed out a mistake you made.  I guess it is easier than admitting you made a mistake.

I think (and this is only my opinion) that you may have this backwards.  The supporters of Trump made Trump - Trump did not make the supporters.  If this jackwagon comes out in support of the vaccine, his people would only think that he has lost his mind.

Trump was/is an idiot - but I think he is the product of the times and not the wind of change that he imagines himself to be.

He's been pretty tepid.

For a guy that features bluster and swagger in his bearing, the restrained support for getting a vaccine says something: he knows he draws some of his political capital from encouraging the kooks and conspiracists, and he's loathe to forcefully smack their hands.

So he makes sure his statements are measured in a way that allows those kooks to project this idea that he's just playing some clever waiting game.

He needs to keep them strung along to keep his political brand going.

There's no doubt that he tapped into something that was there.

There's also no doubt that he was a catalyst for making that grievance he tapped into bigger, louder, and more radical. So saying he was just a symptom of the times is really downplaying his role.

I disagree. Trump made them. He repeated the Q conspiracy crap and Alex Jones lies, as President, on Public TV and made them all sure they were not crazy.

They are crazy.

I just disagree with your assessment. He was very strong and forceful on denying the virus existed. He did not show himself being vaccinated, which would have saved lives.

He did not, as president, or since, hold a press conference with the specific purpose to convince his supporters who do not trust the CDC (thanks to his words) and do not believe in the virus (thanks to his words) and are not getting the vaccine because they are sure it is a liberal conspiracy, again, thanks to his words, over and over and over again.

I am not saying Trump did nothing. I am not saying Trump never spoke.

I am saying he COULD STILL SAVE LIVES RIGHT NOW BY DOING WHAT HE HAS THUS FAR REFUSED TO DO.

Not trying to be a dick, sorry.

To his credit, he could've said and did nothing at all (which is exactly what he did for months following the election) but he eventually did come out recently and tell his morons to get the vaccine. Was it in an impactful way with ideal timing? No, but it's better than nothing. In the end, I'm glad he did it and I hope he does it more like an actual leader is supposed to do, though I know better than to expect that by now.

Toaster: Trump could save lives by telling his supporters to take the vaccine.

RPeeteRules: He has repeatedly. Here are multiple instances where he does just that.

Toaster *likely blowing snot bubbles and ishing his depends in a fit of rage*: No, not like that! In a PSA! You are licking his butt hole!

lol this dude is pathetic. It's why I have to keep tapping the sign.

Oh for sure - he was just there at the right time - and his craziness fed on the frenzy of his backers.

Something tells me natural selection preys on both the mentally AND physically weak ;)
