Hard to say, because while we've already hit peak daily vaccinations, we don't necessarily know what the down slope of the curve will look like. It could fall off a cliff because we were hyper efficient at meeting demand in all regions, or it could be a more gradual decline because some areas still have large pockets of demand that were unmet or people just dragged their feet because they didn't want to have to drive far or fit it into their schedules (most in the 16-29 year old age group fit this profile.)

The plane boarding analogy is what I keep going back to. There are many people who prefer to sit in their seat at the gate until later in the boarding process so that they're not needlessly standing still in a line while others prefer to get in line first and don't mind navigating the pre-boarding rush at the gate.

By the end June, we are on pace to hit at least 50% fully vaccinated, and then hopefully another 5% by end of July for 55% (of total population.) Anything over that is just a bonus. It would be concerning if we fall short of 50%.

Then once we get an EUA for 12-15 year olds, we should get another 2-3% boost. And again for 8-11 year olds by early winter potentially. If we can hit 60% by year's end, we're in good shape. Add another 10% from unvaccinated people with natural immunity and you're knocking on the door for herd immunity.

Overly optimistic  as usual

I wish I could say seeing this kind of evil from Big Pharma was a surprise, but I've seen Dallas Buyer's Club, so this is no shock.

‘Absolutely No Evidence’ COVID-19 Vaccine Can Cause Infertility, Birth Defects, Philadelphia Doc Says

https://philadelphia.cbslocal.com/2021/04/22/covid-vaccine-infertility-birth-defects-philadelphia-doctor/

Quote

Another concern when it comes to vaccinating young people against COVID-19, some parents are concerned about their daughter’s fertility in the future. However, Dr. Rob Danoff, director of family medicine at Jefferson University Hospital, says current data shows no correlation between COVID-19 doses and birth defects.

"Regarding infertility, there is absolutely no evidence, none, that this can cause infertility. None,” Danoff said.

The Doctor added, "WTF is wrong with Howie Roseman?" Expressing skepticism on the new head coach, he added, "I really can't take the Eagles being a dumpster fire this year."

You just assume natural immunity lasts, That the variants are not out of control and that the vaccines last and are effective.

Again with this ish? The only thing I'm assuming from now on, is that you're an attention seeking troll that I likely won't be engaging with again.

Ok have a nice day. You don’t know they are as effective as they claim but you are free to believe what you want

I'd certainly take him over that dip$hit, Abbott.

He's using the data we have available to us so far, which so far establishes that they are very effective.

Ok but that is not guaranteed plus he is making other assumptions to get to his sunny outlook

True so trying to project what will happen by ignoring the bad things possible is not wise

He never guaranteed it. I asked him to project, and he can only project based on the available data. If the projection is too rosy for you, then you either need to come with data that refutes his position, or quietly wait until the situation changes to show that it is otherwise. You have nothing to go on but feels right now.

One other potential boost comes into play if the majority of colleges and universities require vaccination before allowing students to resume in person instruction in the fall. If we see a big uptick in daily doses administered in August, that'll probably be the reason.

And Biden beats Trump.  @Joe Shades 73 was all worried about that, and here we are.

Thank god the American people stepped up and voted so we no longer have to deal with this level of ineptitude.

One of the worst times in history to put that level of stupid in the WH. Ah well, it is what it is at this point.

Half the yahoos I work with had a grand time bad mouthing the vaccine in a meeting today. None of them are getting it and if I did a little research (on youtube) I would understand.

No, that would ease the sting a little, taking their money.

For the troll who thinks vaccines don’t work.
