I don't get it. What's the big deal about wearing a facemask? I'm still going to do it during cold/flu/COVID season out in public where social distancing is difficult: in large stores, crowded airports, etc. It's amazing how much difference a little precaution makes: avoiding breathing on each other, staying away from crowds, etc. It's made me second-guess some of my prior behavior.

I think they've always hated him. He leans slightly right on a lot of issues or, as ishlibs would say, he's a white supremacist.

I don't think he leans right so much as he doesn't succumb to the liberal BS and blindly gobble up everything that CNN says like the ishlibs in here do.

To each there own.  I've survived 37 years doing that and many people much longer than that.  I'll take my chances.  If I want to go to a concert, sporting event, restaurant, brewfest, etc...I prefer to do so without a mask.  Some things like hand sanitizing after being in these places and avoiding touching your face will continue but I hate wearing a mask.  I tolerate it given the circumstances but I'd prefer to ditch them.

C'mon bro.  Come to team Microsoft.  Bill Gates is a wonderful and generous overlord.

I'll probably carry one in my pocket during the winter and throw it on if some knuckle dragging dumb F starts coughing near me in public, but I likely won't wear it by default wherever I go. For doctor's waiting rooms, I hope it's mandatory though.

Good to see you promoting the natural selection agenda.  I support it.

I admire you dedication to trolling the political sub-forum of the off-topic section of the unofficial message board of a rebuilding NFL football team.  Well done sir.

I read that West Virginia is offering $100 bonds for their residents to get vaccinated. I wonder if Mike took them up on that offer and doubled his life savings.

Offer free dental implants and we will have herd immunity next week

In a typical year, VAERS will track around 10 million vaccinations. This year, over 200 million COVID-19 vaccinations have been administered already. More VAERS reports is a certainty, it should be expected. Duh.

Liberals have been so inundated with fear porn media propaganda that they simply can't comprehend just how unlikely it would be for a person of my age/body type/health habits to get seriously ill from the virus, much less die.

Well if anyone on the board knows something about self-awareness it’s definitely the board moderate who once went on a multi page defense of riot kitchen.

You are disillusioned.   I'm not going to tell you to get a vaccine, but you have absolutely no idea what will happen with your health-NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO!  Your risk goes up with every year you age for a host of diseases.  To think you won't catch one, or won't be hospitalized, or have medical care the rest of life is not very wise, young man.  Glad your healthy -enjoy.  Just don't think nothing is ever going to happen to  you, because trust me, it will.

That's great and all but I'm not wearing a mask and social distancing for the rest of my life.  I'll do my part to get through this pandemic (just got my first shot Wednesday).  I'm ready to live a normal life again.

Me neither. My family is all two weeks post second shot. Having a BBQ tomorrow for the first time in a year. Going to hug my daughters for the first time (well, the younger one bought a haz-mat suit to come over and hug us in) - looking forward to more and more normal.

No one knows bravery like a lib who probably spent the last year locked in his house terrified of virus that only kills a tiny minority of the people it infects.

I'm not disillusioned, I'm trusting the science and the data! Severe illness and death is very, very unlikely for someone of my age and body type. I know the older I get, the more vulnerable I will become. I'm certainly willing to get the vaccine once I've seen some long term studies on its effects. Until then, I'll let everyone who wants one be the Guinea pigs and I'll get one when they work out the blood-clotting and stroke issues!
