May 27, 20214 yr follow the facts & evidence...it's not that difficult. as new information comes out, things change. i think most people would like to know where/how it started and i'm not sure how this has turned into a partisan or racist issue. (has it?)

May 27, 20214 yr Comment comes from an article on nursing home deaths. Unbelievable. This virus was far too weak to be a pandemic, it didnt meet the death rate threshold. So five Democrat governors hatched a plan to stuff Covid infected people in nursing homes to raise the body count. This is what made Covid a pandemic, gave a rational for the shut downs, and stopped Trump's rallies and his economy. This isnt a conspiracy theory, there is no other explanation for what they did. No one will be held accountable for these mass murders, the Democratic political elites are far too powerful when they are working for the benefit of the party echelons. I know most people dont want to believe politicians will trade lives for power, but this isnt that uncommon. In the last 60 years, US military action was often for political gain, unnecessarily costing the lives of service members, with little or no advantage to the US in outcome.

(has it?) Unfortunately, anything Trump touches or weighs in on, becomes instantly tainted. Masks, HCQ, Fauci, "living in fear of the virus", etc. The moron literally said, "If you elect Biden, he's gonna listen to the scientists!" as if that were some horribly misguided concept.

The best way to prove it's not a conspiracy theory is to just state unequivocally that it's not a conspiracy theory. It's like undercover cops, if you ask them if they're a cop, by law they have to tell you!

Honestly, you take out nursing home deaths and this thing is really pretty weak.

We've had, as of now, around 600K deaths that have been attributed to Covid (though it's likely higher than that). About 32% of those are linked to nursing homes. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/us/coronavirus-nursing-homes.html A little under 200K deaths come from nursing home residents or staff. That leaves over 400K dead Americans outside of nursing homes. Take out nursing homes, and we'd still have the 2nd most deaths in the world.

I hope this was some moron commenting on an article, and not a quote from within the article. There's no question we completely F'ed our response to the disease in relation to nursing homes and the elderly. Nursing home deaths STILL account for 35% of all deaths to this day. But, as I've said a dozen times, we shove our elderly who are too sick or too old to care for into **** nursing homes owned by millionaires and ran by underpaid and undertrained staff. Are we seriously shocked that our death count is this high?? Do a little research into the nursing homes in your area! I bet they fail more health inspections that restaurants do in your area, too. But nobody intentionally did that as a response to COVID. That's some crazy arse MAGA far right blogging ish right there. Yes, NY f'ed up big time. But not as a conspiracy.

May 28, 20214 yr Quote "In an unlikely but conceivable turn of events, what if that scientist becomes infected with the virus, which leads to an outbreak and ultimately triggers a pandemic? Many ask reasonable questions: given the possibility of such a scenario – however remote – should the initial experiments have been performed and/or published in the first place, and what were the processes involved in this decision? Scientists working in this field might say – as indeed I have said – that the benefits of such experiments and the resulting knowledge outweigh the risks. However, the scientific community must respect that there are genuine and legitimate concerns about this type of research, both domestically and globally. We cannot expect those who have these concerns to simply take us, the scientific community, at our word that the benefits of this work outweigh the risks, nor can we ignore their calls for greater transparency, their concerns about conflicts of interest, and their efforts to engage in a dialog about whether these experiments should have been performed in the first place. Those of us in the scientific community who believe in the merits of this work have the responsibility to address these concerns thoughtfully and respectfully.” - Anthony Fauci, 2012
May 28, 20214 yr my employer is going to be handing out badges to folks who show proof of vaccination in order to stop wearing a mask at work. it will be interesting to see if any members of the "muh freedomz" crowd decide to queef about it.

Our employers are anti mask and being told what to do, though they loosely suggested we wear a mask when it was mandated. Then a customer complained and we got a message from the Spokane County Health District that there would be penalties if there was more complaints, then they were all gung ho about enforcing it. We have a group here that are all this is a hoax, and they get visibly irritated when we talk about being vaccinated. I just purchased a new mask to wear. I am sure they will love it.
