July 23, 20214 yr Hannity wants to make it very clear: I never told anyone to get the vaccine Hannity got a rash of crap because liberals were happy with him for about 5 minutes. Had to say that was part of the "lies and hysteria" from liberal media. Clowns.

July 23, 20214 yr She really is a disgusting human Imagine the worst thing that could happen to anyone, then imagine Republicans laughing about it https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2021/7/23/2041479/-Marjorie-Taylor-Greene-spits-on-child-s-grave-as-Ron-DeSantis-vows-he-ll-do-nothing-to-help-Florida As an illustration of what Greene is all about, the tweet could not be more succinct. Because it came one day after this NBC News article, one of several discussing the sad death of 5-year-old Wyatt Gibson. Wyatt died "in his mother's arms” after coming down with COVID-19. At 5, the virus caused the young boy to have a stroke. Wyatt’s family said they have "been so careful” throughout the pandemic. It’s not clear if the other members of the family were all vaccinated, but it’s certain that Wyatt was not. Children under 12 can’t get vaccinated at this point. Masks and social distancing are the only protection they have. Wyatt lived in Marjorie Taylor Greene’s district. Of the 435 congressional districts, Greene’s is number 427 when it comes to getting vaccinated. Greene was almost certainly aware of Wyatt’s death when she posted her tweet. Earlier in the week she laughed over the idea that she had any responsibility to protect the people of Georgia. "You crack me up,” she to a reporter asking about the issue. "You know what? I think people’s responsibility is their own.”

I don't think the misinformation spreading enters their minds whatsoever.
July 23, 20214 yr HEY F-FACES. AIR TRAVEL IS STARTING TO BE RESTRICTED AGAIN. QUARANTINES ARE GOING INTO EFFECT AGAIN. HAPPY? GET VACCINATED.

Because so many morons won't get vaccinated, they are bringing back mask mandates and the like to save imbeciles from themselves. It is the exact wrong thing to do -- they should allow insurers to deny coverage for COVID to anyone who is unvaccinated. But since government seemingly exists to shield idiots from any consequences, we are all inconvenienced and businesses suffer. Indirectly this is true, but more directly it's to prevent hospitals from being overrun. Like you implied though, if hospitals could turn away unvaccinated covid patients, there wouldn't be much of a problem.

The vast majority (95%?) of hospitalizations for fully vaccinated people are over 50 or immunocomprised. But there are some indications that even vaccinated people are beginning to fall into the "long-haulers" category even with mild cases. I keep saying this, but there's still so much we don't know about how this disease impacts us, especially after we clear the initial infection. It's likely that long covid is going to be quite rare for fully vaccinated individuals, but even still, I'd rather not roll the dice if cases start to spike in my area. Same applies with my unvaccinated kids, which is why we still make them wear a mask whenever we go to stores, dance class, for their summer camps, etc.
July 23, 20214 yr Apparently these groups have been targeting multiple medical facilities that treat the most immunocompromised patients that need to wear masks. Fing anti-vaxxers. As if chemo patients didn't have to deal with enough now they have to safely make their way through aggressive crowds of "MUUUUH FREEEEEEEEDUMS!!!" retards.

All we can do is keep learning as much as we can.

There will definitely be players not vaccinated worth the risk. Hopkins? He won't be cut. Cole Beasley? Is the presence of Beasley really worth potentially forfeiting a game? No.
