Wuhan researchers could've easily been infected with a sample they collected in the field or in the lab, without having ever modified it. Wouldn't be surprised if a few of them end up in the hospital none of them are vaccinated

I have no idea what his symptoms were but he indicated he was feeling much better yesterday and today, the 2 days I was on site. I wasn’t around him but I spent much of the day yesterday with people that are around him regularly. Everyone on the job is vaccinated as far as I know so I’m hoping it was just a cold and if not the percentages are in my favor to not have caught anything especially since we were outside for almost the entire time. And he tested positive for COVID today.
