My wife and I are both vaccinated, but I still feel weird about going out to eat anywhere that’s crowded. We were going to eat at this diner last week, but it looked packed, so we chickened out.

If there's a long wait for patio seating, we just walk to the next restaurant and see what the wait is there. On a couple occasions, we've just done take out and then found somewhere to sit and eat it.

August 30, 20214 yr I still get takeout also because of a kid at home that is too young to get vaccinated. We have enough options within driving distance to get it and bring it home. Also lots of food truck nearby for variety. We made an exception on vacation several weeks ago and dined inside for the first time since March 2020. But I don't think we'll do it again anytime soon with delta numbers still climbing.

At the peak over 7,000 cases per day, now around 1300 and falling in the last week from a high of around 2000, virus is over for vaxxed, the unvaxxed will perish, good riddance
