There's a 100% chance Howie will make a move at CB. Just don't know what it will be or how good the player is

Not to knock on wood here, but the guy is the epitome of durability ... has played in all 16 games every season except 2019 (missed 4).

True but his stats fell off the table last year.  While Washington did turn to the younger guys and Kerrigan's opportunities were limited, I hope his skills haven't declined the way the data makes it look.

He's at the end of his career and hopefully can contribute for the whole year as a rotational player. At least he won't be giving us headaches from the other side this season, lol.

Eagles desperate need - CB

Eagles needs - LBs/Safeties.

Howie solution - continue to strengthen the line.

Good move - but absolutely need a corner.

Strengthening the D-line will prevent the corners--whomever they may be--from being exposed.

The DL just needs to get 10 or so sacks a game and then the Secondary will be ok.

That has been the mantra for years, and our corners continue to be exposed.

If anything ..1 thing is guaranteed... he will get 4-5 sacks alone in the 2 games vs Washington. he will also shine vs Dallas

everything beyond that will be a bonus.

They drafted Sweat and Young in successive first rounds at DE and Ron Rivera decided the future was now when he got hurt in '19 is how I see it.

There has to be a restructure and extension for Barnett now, because there's no way we're paying him 10million dollars this year.

People saying we're definitely getting a corner too, every roster move so far makes that less likely, my guess is at very best they pick up a vet minimum final cuts guy, unless Howie really gives Barnett a 'Cox Johnson special' dummy years out the wazoo extension.

Try 17-18-19-20:

2017: Jonathan Allen

2018: Daron Payne

2019: Montez Sweat

2020: Chase Young

That’s a lot of first round beef. Four 1st round picks in a row on the Dline.

But wait... can he play CB?

If he’s knocking down QB’s that takes pressure off backs.

No doubt but CC did specify DE in his post (Allen and Payne are DTs).

For sure. Just saying, overall that line is all first rounders. I see Kerrigan as a 3rd down specialist here rotating in with Barnett. Hopefully can squeeze a solid year out of him.

That sounds about right.  Hoping for a Chris Long type of outcome.

Zero clue - but everyone was saying how come we got Robey-Coleman so cheap last year and nobody else wanted to sign him and that worked out just fine.

😨

He's clearly on the downswing of his career, but if he can be a part of the rotation and contribute I don't have any complaints.

He's not what he was, but I am all for this. He's still a solid end.

Barnett - Cox - Hargrave - Graham

Sweat - Williams - Ridgeway - Kerrigan

Nice.

5.5 sacks the last two years and turning 33 this summer. Doesn't seem to be declining at all.
